The next morning, you, Andi and Milli went to the great hall and had your lunch. You had your classes with the Gryffindors and you were glad to know that you will see your friends, Ron and Harry every time.
You were on your Transfiguration class and you were seated next to Caleb when you look around seeing Hermione.
"Where's Harry and Ron?" you asked Caleb whispering.
"Probably got lost?" answered Caleb and just on cue, Harry and Ron entered the class.
"Lucky the professor isn't here yet" said Ron and the cat that was seating on the table in front turned into professor McGonagall. Ron's eyes went wide the same thing with Harry. You and Caleb giggled and looked at them. They looked for a seat and was seated at the opposite side of you. You waved at them and they smiled back at you.
You were again on another class, Potions. You were all seated when professor Snape came in.
"There will be no wands waving around this class" he said as he made his way in front. Everyone went silent and a boy named Neville felt terrified with professor Snape. Professor Snape started his lesson and everyone was listening carefully when you look around and saw Harry writing down notes. You were shocked when Snape asked Harry a question. And you, knowing the answer, raised your hand as well as Caleb who was seated next to you and as well as Hermione who was next to Harry. Harry didn't know the answer so he answered nothing. Another question was asked and you realized that Snape wants answer from Harry so you put you hand down and pulled Caleb's hand down.
"He wants answer from Harry" you whispered to Caleb and he nodded.
"Fame isn't really everything, right Potter?" Snape said plainly.
You looked at Harry who was looking down and noticed Malfoy smirking.
"That blonde brat really got the attitude don't he?" you whispered to Caleb.
" Well, reputation and family name went all the way to his head. But he's kinda cool" smiled Caleb.
Then again, you were in another class. Your very first flying lesson. Madam Hooch were already outside and your brooms were already alined. Madam Hooch ordered you to get by your brooms and lift your hand above it. She ordered you to say up to pick your brooms up. You were currently in front of Harry and on your right is Malfoy, and on the left is Caleb. On Harry's right is Ron and on the other side is Hermione. Everyone started saying up to get their brooms. With one word, Malfoy's broom went on his hand same thing with Harry and Caleb. You tried to say the word and it went all the way to your hand as well. You were looking at Ron who was having a hard time.
"Up!" said Ron and it went to his nose causing you, Harry and Caleb laugh.
"Oh shut up, Harry" said Ron and Harry pointed at you and Caleb who were laughing.
"Shut up you two" said Ron and you and Caleb shut it but still smiling.
While you were laughing at Ron, the boy named Neville went up in the air and madam Hooch ordered him to come down but it seems like he's out of control. He then went up and went crushing down. Madam Hooch took Neville to the infirmary to be healed and ordered you to wait for her and stay on ground. Malfoy picked up Neville's remembrall which you believe was a gift from his grandma.
"If Longbottom remembered to give this a squeeze, maybe he remembered to fall on his butt" Malfoy said. Caleb laughed and you snorted when Harry looked at you. "Sorry" was the only thing you said unto him.
"Give it back, Malfoy" said Harry and Malfoy looked at him and started to taunt him.
"I don't know if this is a good idea" you whispered to Caleb.
"Malfoy knows what he's going" Caleb said looking at Malfoy up in the air.
Malfoy threw the ball and Harry went rushing to get it back.
"What an idiot" said Hermione and you looked at her with agreement. Malfoy went down and landed beside you.
"You shouldn't have done that. Madam Hooch said to stay put or else you're out of here" you said unto Malfoy.
"But I didn't get caught didn't I?" Malfoy said and winked at you. You just rolled your eyes at him. Then professor McGonagall came in.
"Mr. Potter, come with me" she said and Harry went with her.
"But someone did" Malfoy whispered to your ear and you looked at him feeling disappointed with his attitude as he walks away.
"That Malfoy really is something, isn't he?" Caleb told you and he started walking following Malfoy and you followed after him with Andrea.
It was late in the afternoon and you were outside the castle with your brother and Caleb.
"So, how was your first day?" Chase asked
"It was fine" said without looking up from your book
"And funny" giggled Caleb and you just rolled your eyes.
"Yeah? How is it funny?" Chase asked
"It was in our flying class. Malfoy and Potter gets into each others nerves" Caleb explains
"Rivals, huh? Just don't get involve" Chase told Caleb. A few minutes past then someone comes in.
"Hey, Caleb. Wanna hang out?" Malfoy asked.
"Sure" Caleb said standing up. Liam then came in.
"Hey guys. Having fun?" Liam asked.
"Wow. You're the Head Boy. Liam Ritshire?" Malfoy asked
"The one and only" Liam smiled at him.
"When I'll be in our seventh year, I'll be the Head Boy myself" Malfoy said
"We'll see about that young man. Caleb here is a one to watch out for the position" Liam said as he winked at Malfoy, Morgan and Zabini.
You just laughed to see Malfoy looking at Caleb.
"We'll see. We'll be going now" Malfoy smiled and then he turn to you and your brother "Bye Witthams" he said and they run along.
You, your brother and cousin were spending your bonding time alone waiting for dinner.
"So Y/N, how's your first day?" Liam asked
"It was fun" you simply said
"You know what, now that the three of us are here, we should hang-out more" suggested Chase
"That would be great for my last year" said Liam.
"Wouldn't that be a little distraction for your Head Boy duties?" You asked Liam.
"No. It's fine. How's every Saturday or Sunday?" Liam asked
"Weekends sounds great" said Chase
"If" you cut off
"If what?" Liam asked
"You help with my homeworks" you smiled at them
"Consider it done" Chase and Liam said in unison.
A little later, a young boy in Hufflepuff robes approached you.
"Hey Chase, are you free?" asked the boy
"Yeah, I am" Chase said
"Oh, hi Liam" said the boy
"Hey" replied Liam
"By the way, this is my little sister, Y/N. Y/N this is Cedric Diggory. A friend of mine, and he's a Hufflepuff" Chase introduced.
"Hi" you smiled at Cedric and he shook your hand.
"Nice to meet you. Well, at least she's not in the same house as you" Cedric said
"She may not be in Ravenclaw like us. But believe me, she's a bookworm and a nerd" said Chase
"No I'm not. I just love reading" you said
"She can be a little busy with books some times" said Liam and the boys laughed.
"Why do you hate me so much?" you said sarcastically.
"We better get going. Dinner is about to be serve" said Cedric
"Sure. Let's go" said Chase and they started to walk to the castle.
"Wait for me! I got tiny legs" you said as you followed them
"Come here" said Liam and he carried you on his back. Giving you a piggy back ride.
"Here you go. Eat well" said Liam as he let you down your seat on your table and tapped your head before going to his seat.
"You're friends with the Head Boy!?" exclaimed Millicent as she sits next to you.
"He's kind of a brother to me. He's my cousin" you explained
"One lucky family" said Millicent
"But isn't it odd you're not in Ravenclaw?Maybe you don't have much brains like they do" laughed the girl named Pansy Parkinson
"Actually, she's a very smart girl. And mind you, her brother wouldn't like you treating their princess like that" says Caleb as he sat down by your other side.
"And who would her brother be?" Parkinson laughed.
"Oh, you know. That one guy in Ravenclaw that you've been eyeing on. The 'cute' guy" Blaise said as he sat down.
"You're a Withham!?" Parkinson exclaimed
"Yes. Yes, I am. And I don't like you" you said getting your head closer to her and smiling sarcastically. Parkinson then stood up and went to her girl group. Probably going to talk about you. Then Malfoy came in taking the seat Parkinson left in front of you.
"Maybe that's why they put you to Slytherin" said Malfoy smirking at you. You just rolled your eyes and started to eat your dinner while Caleb and Blaise laughed.
