Halfway through summer and you are currently at home playing with Hunter.
"Y/N! Visitor!" Chase shouted from the inside. And since you were outside playing with Hunter, you run outside to see who was it. Caleb? The twins? Liam?
"Hi" greeted your visitor
"Oh, hi. Come sit" you told him
"Thank you. Oh, here. Flowers for you" he told you
"Thanks" you smiled "Would you like something to eat?" you added
"No. I'm fine" he said
"So, what are we up to today?" you asked
"Well, do you wanna go out?" he asked
"Sure. Where to?" you asked
"Where do you wanna go?" he asked you
"Usually Caleb's" your brother said as he walked pass you going outside. You just looked at him and rolled your eyes.
"What?" Chase asked you
"Nothing. Just....go" you told him
"Okay. I'm just gonna take Hunter for a walk. Come on Hunter" he said and Hunter came to him. He put on his chain and they were ready to go.
"Take care of my sister, Malfoy" said Chase and out he go.
"Sure will" Draco said assuring your brother.
"So, where are we heading?" Draco asked you
"Let's just roam around" you told him
"Okay" he said
Before you could get out of your house, your mom and dad arrived.
"Oh, good afternoon mom, dad" you greeted your parents and kissed them
"Hey, sweetie" your mom greeted
"Good afternoon Mr. & Mrs. Wittham" greeted Draco
"Oh, young Malfoy. It looks like you've got the hang of being here" your dad said
"Dad" you said
"I was just joking" your dad said
"Uhm, we were about to go out and roam around, can we?" you asked your parents
"Sure. But come home before dinner" your dad said
"Okay. Thanks dad" you said and pulled Draco with you outside
You were walking down the road of a not so busy street. Well, it was like a village where the rich people are in. Many trees, not so many cars going and flying through, houses are not so close and not so distant, just right.
"Do you wanna go and check on Caleb?" Draco asked you
"He's with Kathleen, I don't wanna bother" you told him
"Okay. Let's just....uhm...walk? Then" he told you
"Sure. I'll take you to a place" you told him. You dragged him with you where you usually go when you're alone with Hunter. It is where Liam usually take you when you have nothing to do. It just made you feel relaxed and calm.
And after a few minutes of walking and running and laughing with each other, you and Draco finally reached your destination.
"And we're here!" you said as you let go of Draco's hand and sat down the grass under the shade of a tree.
"A river, huh? I see water calms you down" Draco told you
"Yeah. Sometimes when we're having our alone time, when I'm not in the astronomy tower, I'm by the Black Lake" you told him
"Oh, okay" Draco said as he sat down next to you
"I also spend my time with Fred and George by the Black Lake" you told him
"Any kind of body of water is a relaxing place to you, huh?" Draco stated
"Yeah. Liam thought me on how calming the water can be" you told him
"That's cool" Draco said
"Yeah. And now, I wanna share it with you" you told him
"Great" he just said
"You, Liam and Hunter are the only one who spent time with me here you know" you told him
"Oh, really? Why is that?" Draco asked you
"Well, as what I told you, it's a special place" you told him
"Then why didn't you bring Chase or Caleb here yet?" Draco asked
"Because those two, have a different kind of special place. Chase is an adventurer. So we go to places when we're together, just like Caleb. Liam is a more sweet person. As long as you two are together, anywhere is fine" you explained to Draco
"And what does it makes me?" Draco asked
"Well, like Liam, anywhere is fine as long as we're together" you smiled at him
"That surely is true" he smiled back at you.
After moments of talking about all the crazy things you can think of, Draco took you back to your house. He said Goodbye to your mom and dad and even Chase. And he went on his way back to their manor. And in a few more minutes, dinner will be served.
"Good evening!" a guy shouted entering your house
"Good evening Liam!" you shouted and hugged your cousin
"Good evening brother" said Chase and hugged Liam
"No young Malfoy today?" Liam asked
"He went home early" said Chase as he sat back down the couch
"He's a cool friend you know" you told them
"Yeah. We know that. Caleb told us. Is he your boyfriend yet?" Liam asked as he sat down
"What? No. Not yet" you told him sitting next to him
"Not 'yet'. Okay" said Liam
"Yeah. Not yet. But soon" said Chase
"Oh, come on. Stop it" you told them
"Okay everyone. That's enough. Your sister is going to have a boyfriend but we'll get dinner first" your dad said as he go down the stairs
"Dad!"you exclaimed
"That's right. Let's get dinner" said Chase and stood up heading to the dining room
"Come on. We're just pulling your leg" said Liam, helped you up and put an arm around your shoulder on your way to the kitchen.
A week before your birthday, it was the Quidditch World Cup. And your whole family together with the Ritshires and the Morgans are going to watch the game. Your family and family friends had reserved a whole bench quarter to watch the game in the best view. And not so far were the Malfoys. But far behind were your Gryffindor friends. Your Slytherin friends seemed to be on the other side of the arena.
You, Chase, Liam and Caleb are cheering for Ireland. Even though the best seeker was on the other team. You don't like him anyways. So, you didn't mind.
You were all having fun watching the game. Cheering your loudest with your family and friends. And in the end, Ireland wins!
You were on your way back to your tents when suddenly, as you stepped outside, everyone was running everywhere. Fire and smoke were all around. Your dad, Liam's and Caleb's dad helped each other to get everyone of you to safety. And once in a safe place, you all apparated back to your manor. When in times like those, your manor was always a safe place to be in. Your dad made sure of that.
Your family, the Ritshires and the Morgans decided to stay the night in your house. You, Caleb, Liam and Chase decided to sleep by the fireplace with your dad putting up a spell to keep you covered from any harm. And your parents stayed in their room and the others, in the guest rooms.
"That was crazy!" Chase exclaimed
"I'm scared" you told them
"Don't worry. We're safe" Liam assured you
"What the bloody hell was that!?" Caleb stated still stunned
"Who could've caused such damage?" stated Liam
You all can't believe what you just witnessed. Something doesn't feel right. You all shared your expeculations about the incident. But still can't figure out who could do such thing or why would they even do it.
After two weeks or so, you were on your way back to Hogwarts. Everyone was talking about the incident that happened during the World Cup. Everyone except the one sitting beside you, Draco Malfoy.
"Is everything okay?" you asked Draco
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Just a little tired" Draco told you
"Oh, okay. Take a rest then. I'll wake you up when we get there" you told him and he nodded closing his eyes.
