No One But You (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 40

"So, where are we heading?" you asked your date on your way to Hogsmeade
"Remember, you said you wanted to try Madam Pudifoot's?" Draco asked
"Yeah" you smiled
"Then, let's try it" he said and held your hand as he started to run with you on your way to the store.

You entered the store and get a table. Draco ordered for the both of you. And now, you were waiting for your food.

"So, what's up?" you asked him
"I don't really know. We've never been out, just the two of us" he told you
"I know that" you laughed
"Well, yeah. I wonder how everyone else is doing" he stated
"Yeah. Well, did you happen to know where did the boys took their dates?" you asked
"Not really. But knowing them, Caleb went for somewhere sweet. And Blaise somewhere, uhm, let's say..." Draco stated
"Somewhere funny? Cool? Fun?" you continued his statement with a laugh
"Yeah. Somewhere like that" Draco laughed as well

A little later, your food finally arrived and you started to eat. And you were halfway to your food when Draco started to talk.

"Well, uhm, Y/N" Draco said
"Yes?" you looked at him
"Well, I've been meaning to tell you something" he said
"Okay, what is it?" you asked and put your spoon and knife down
"Well, ikindalikeyou" he told you looking down
"What? Can you repeat that, I kinda didn't get it" you told him
"I kinda, uhm, like you?" he said as he scratch the back of his head
"Oh, okay" you nodded and got a sip of your drink

"Do you think, you can give me a shot?" Draco asked
"A shot of what? Firewhiskey?" you told him jokingly
"No. I mean, you know" he said still can't look you straight in the eye
"Yeah, I know I was just joking" you laughed
"So, you'll give me chance?" He asked expectantly with a smile
"Well, sure. Let's give it a shot" you smiled at him as you see his eyes glow and his whole face lit up.

After you eat, you went outside for a stroll.

"Want some sweets?" Draco asked
"Yeah, sure" you smiled
"Then, come on" he said and held your hand in his and started to run. Again.

You went inside Honeydukes to get some candies. Draco's treat.

And as you went outside again you've decided to just stroll around with some lollipops in your mouth. As you go around, you saw Blaise and Andrea.

"Andi!" you shouted and got her attention
"Hey!" Andrea shouted back and run to you.

"So, you're having fun?" Andrea asked
"Yeah. I have a nice date" you smiled and put your arm around Draco's
"That's so sweet!" Andrea squealed
"What about you?" you asked
"It's fun" Andrea smiled
"Okay then. Let's head back?" you asked your friends
"Okay" Andrea smiled

As you were on your way back, Draco keeps on playing with your hair, poking your cheeks and nose and just having fun. And instead of feeling annoyed, you actually felt it was cute of him to do so. Well, it's not in his nature.

As you reached the castle, you saw Caleb saying goodbye to Kathleen. And as soon as Kathleen went back to her dorm, Caleb joined you.

"So, how was your day?" you asked Caleb
"It was nice. Yours?" Caleb said
"Better" said Draco
You then turned to look at Andrea and Blaise who were laughing. Maybe because of Blaise's joke.

You decided to hang out for awhile and later on went to the great hall for dinner. And, decided to call it a day.

When you were about to enter your dorm, you were stopped by Natasha.

"You may have won today, Wittham. But you'll never break me and your brother!" Natasha sneered at you and went inside your dorm house fuming in anger.

"What was that? Did they broke up?" Blaise asked
"Oh, I wish they did!" Andrea said
"No. Not really. Therese said my brother wants some time and space" you told them
"That's good" said Caleb and Draco just shrugged.

You then all went in and get some rest from a tiring but fun day out.

The next day, you were walking outside the castle with Draco. Your other friends were having their time as well. You and Draco are having a fun time making fun at each other when Chase came to talk to you.

"Can I have some time with my sister?" Chase asked Draco
"Okay. I'll be back later" Draco told you and gave you some time with your brother

"So, hey" Chase started
"Hey" you smiled weakly and sat down
"How have you been?" Chase asked as he sat down beside you
"Just fine. You?" you aksed him
"Actually, I don't know. I've not been myself" Chase said looking down
"It's okay. You're fine now" you told your brother and smiled weakly at him

"I'm sorry. For whatever I've done. I'm really really sorry" Chase told you and looked at you sincerely
"I've been hurt, but I forgive you. It's not your doing anyways" you told him
"I'm breaking up with her" Chase told you
"Are you sure that's what you want?" you asked your brother
"I love her. But I love you more than anyone. And I can't take it that I might hurt you again because of her" Chase said
"Chase, I know you'll do anything for me. It's time you do something for yourself. If you love her, fine. I'll just keep myself away from her." you told your brother

"But I don't know if she'll ever change. But I really love her, you know" Chase stated
"I know you love her. It's up to you if you want to work things out" you told him. He just looked at you and smiled as a tear fell down from his eyes.
"I love you so much. There's no one who can take away your place in my heart" Chase said as he hugged you tight
"I love you too, Chase. More than anyone" you told him as you hugged him back fighting back the tears in your eyes.

After talking a little more and catching with things, you noticed your brother looking at Draco who was watching you not very far away.

"Are you two together?" Chase asked
"No. Not really" you told him and looked at Draco
"I see he likes you" Chase stated
"Yeah. He told me" you told your brother
"Do you like him back?" Chase asked
"Maybe? I'm not that sure yet" you told him
"Since when?" he asked
"Well, maybe the start of the year" you told him

"Okay. So what's up?" he asked you once again
"Uhm, getting to know each other more?" you told your brother not a 100% sure
"So, he's courting you, huh" said Chase looking at Draco
"I guess" you told him and looked at Draco as well
"I'll be the judge of that. And Liam will, too" Chase smiled at you.

You just smiled at your brother and hugged him tight.

"I missed you so much, Chase" you said resting your head on his shoulder
"I missed you more, princess" Chase said as he rested his head on your head.
