You wake up to a chilling breeze. And it's already 8 in the morning! Lucky you, it was Saturday. You stood up, waved your wand and the bed was fixed. You entered your bathroom and another wave from your wand and the water came out with a warm temperature.
After getting ready and dressed, you grabbed your sweater, tucked your wand and wear your favorite beanie from Draco, you went out your room and straight to the common room you go. As you went down, you see your small group of friends lounging around the fireplace for heat.
"Hey, what's up?" you asked looking at them
"Nothing. Going for breakfast?" asked Caleb
"Yes. Wanna come?" you asked
"We've gone there already" said Blaise lazily
"Okay. I'll go get something to eat then. Where are you heading?" you stated
"Me and Andrea will stay here" said Millicent
"We're going out to play around" said Caleb as he got up together with Blaise and Draco. And they were ready to go. They walked passed you going out to play around the castle.
"Nice beanie" says Draco as he walk by and running out to follow Caleb and Blaise.
"Okay, then. I'll go grab breakfast" you stated to Andrea and Millicent
"We'll be right here" said Andrea lying down the couch. You went out the Slytherin door and off to the great hall you go when you see your brother holding a long-stemed white rose. And he was talking to Natasha. You sighed, bowed your head and continued to walk.
Chase's POV
"Tasha, I'm really sorry. I can't go out with you today" I stated to Natasha who was asking me to go with her to Hogsmeade
"Why? Is there something you need to do? I'll help you out" she said
"Yes, there is something I need to do. And no, you can't help me out with this. I'll just have this day free for something else" I explained
"Oh, and does that rose a part of it?" she asked pretty stern
"Yes. But it's not what you think" I told her as I saw my sister making her way down the corridor with her head down.
"Sis!" I exclaimed happily. She looked at me and smiled
"Oh, hey Chase" she smiled
"Oh, here. This is for you" I handed her the rose and put an arm around her shoulder as Natasha made her way to us.
"Natasha, this is my sister Y/N. Y/N, this is Natasha" I said
"A fellow Slytherin. I remember you. Hi" said Natasha and offered a hand
"Hi" smiled my sister and shook her hand.
"Now that you're finished, can you come with me now?" Natasha asked me with her puppy eyes
"I'm sorry. I'm going to spend the day with my sister" I said resisting her cute puppy eyes.
"Fine. I'll see you tomorrow. Have fun" she said and hugged me then went on her way.
I stood in front of my sister once again and smiled at her.
"Shall we?" I asked her
"You didn't have to do that" she stated
"What? No. I wanted to be with my sister. And I told you, I'll make it up to you. Now, shall we have our breakfast?" I stated and asked her once again.
"I think we shall" she smiled and took my hand.
We made our way to the great hall and I asked her to stay at our table. We were seated on my usual spot and Therese joined us. I've planned a lot of things to do with my sister today. And I'm not going to not let all of it happen.
"What do you wanna do today?" I asked my sister as we finished eating.
"Nothing really" she said
"Okay. I've planned a lot of things for us today. Therese, will you join us?" I stated and asked my best friend.
"Sure" said Therese as she smiled at us.
"Okay then. First, we'll head down the lake to enjoy our company and catch up with things. Then, we'll play around with Fred and George. Then, we'll have lunch. Then we'll go around the pitch and later in the afternoon we'll have a little picnic under the trees in our usual place. And just before dinner, we'll help ourselves with some books in the Astronomy Tower" I announced which made my sister excited.
"Thank you so much, Chase! We should get started!" my sister exclaimed and hugged me tight.
I realized how much I missed her tight hugs for the last few weeks. I missed her genuine smiles that made her eyes sparkle. And as I look over to my best friend, I realized she haven't smiled that warmly for the past few weeks. Maybe I did faded out with these two. But now, I'm going make it up to them. So let the day begins.
Your POV
You had a wonderful day. Chase really did make it up to us. You missed spending fun time with him. Now, you were walking down the stairs from the Astronomy Tower to the great hall for dinner.
"Chase?" you said as you go down holding his hand
"Yes?" he smiled at you
"During December break, can I bring Harry home?" you hesitated to ask
"Well, it's okay. But isn't he going home?" Chase asked
"Well, his uncle is mean to him. And I don't want him to spend Christmas in such a way" you stated
"Okay then. If he wants to, sure" Chase said opening the door of the great hall.
You hugged him and thanked him for the day. Then you went to the Gryffindor table to tell Harry your news.
"Harry! Harry!" you exclaimed
"Oh, Y/N. Hey" he smiled
"Do you want to stay at our place for Christmas?" you smiled at him
"Do you really want me to?" Harry asked you and you nodded
"Okay" he said and you hugged him tight.
"Yay! We'll go home together!" you said "It's a fun day isn't it? First day of snow" you smiled looking at Ron and Hermione
"Yes, it is" smiled Ron
"Okay then, I'll go back to my table now" you smiled and went on your way.
You skipped your way to your table sitting down next to Caleb.
"You seem happy" Caleb stated
"Yep. Chase spend the day with me and Therese" you smiled at him
"That's nice" says Andrea
"And, Harry is coming home with us this Christmas" you smiled
"Wow. He can come to my party" smiled Caleb
"Certainly. You haven't spend your birthday with us last year" you said matter of factly.
"Yeah. Like you did on your last" Caleb said smiling
"Yeah. But you can all come next year" you said to your circle of friends.
"You should come to mine too" said Draco biting on his chicken
"If we're complete, I'm going" said Blaise
"I'm with Blaise" said Millicent
"Me too" said Andrea
"Three" you said
"Four" said Caleb
"Oh, come on guys" Draco said
"Yes, yes. We're going. Make sure you'll come to mine" said Caleb laughing a little.
"December 28 is saved" said Blaise and you all shared a laugh and continued with your food.
After dinner, you were all seated near the fireplace feeling warm. A little later, Natasha came in with her two goons.
"Hey, Wittham" she said crossing her hand to her chest
"It's Y/N" said Millicent
"Whatever. I'm calling her Wittham" she stated
"Does that what you call my brother?" you asked standing up
"No. Cause he's someone special and you're not" she said
"What do you want?" you asked
"Nothing. I just came to see you" she smiled
"Well, you've seen me" you said matter of factly
"Yes. And have a good night" she said turning around "And I'm spending the day tomorrow with your brother. So you can play around with your friends" she turn and smiled and went on her way to her room.
"I'll hex that girl!" Andrea exclaimed
"I still don't see why your brother likes her" Millicent said
"She's got the body" said Blaise
"And she's pretty" said Draco
"And, she acts different in front of Chase" said Caleb
"Let them be. If Chase likes her, then let him. I'm for my brother not her" you stated.
You spent your night telling stories with your friends. And talking about people around the castle and even professors until your eyes can't handle it.
