No One But You (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 5

You were running late because you went to the Ravenclaw house to talk to your brother. Lucky you, Liam is the Head Boy so he sent you down your dormitory without points being taken from you and without him telling a professor about it.

As you enter your common room, there was no one in there. So it will be easy for you to sneak in your room.
You were about to take a step up the stairs when you heard someone walking.
"Malfoy! Where are you going? It's late!" you half whisper half yelled at him.
"Nowhere. I just had to do something. Get some fresh air" he told you.
You then walked in front of him, stood there and just crossed your arms to your chest.
"Okay, fine. Come with me and be quiet" he told you. He then went on his way and you followed him.

You were walking and was about to got outside the castle when you stopped and tugged on Draco's robe.
"Wait. We can't go out. We'll get detention if they see us" you told him.
"No we're not. They will" he pointed out to three students running outside the castle.
"Harry, Ron and Hermione?" You asked
"Yes. And they are in big trouble" he told you
"But what are they up to?" you asked
"That's what I'm gonna find out" he said
"No you won't. We better stay out of this. We better go back" you told him
"No I'm not. If you want, you can go back. But keep quiet" he said
"Okay fine. But if you get into trouble, I get to say I told you so" you grin at him
"Whatever Wittham. Just go" he said as he rolled his eyes on you.
You went on your way and Draco went on his way.

The next day was a bit silent. Caleb spent time with his friends. Millicent and Andrea had to do something. Chase and Liam are a bit busy and Harry, of course with Ron and Hermione, are in the quidditch practice. So you decided to have you're time alone in your common room, since you're classes are done and you're just waiting for dinner. You were sitting at the couch reading the book Liam gave you as a gift when someone walked in shutting the door a bit loud. Draco came in and sat down the couch opposite yours and put down his bag then exhaled deeply.
"So, what happen?" you asked
"Nothing" he said closing his eyes and lying down the couch.
"Oh, really? You seem upset" you teased Draco
"What concerns you" he spat at you
"Oh come on Malfoy. Got into trouble didn't you?" you grinned at him
"Okay, fine. I got detention tonight with those three. Happy?" he said glaring at you.
"Haha! Well, I'll take my end of the line. I told you so" you said teasing him before you went to your room and put down your book before dinner.

You were left alone at the common room reading in advance for your potions class. It's a bit late but you didn't mind. You were startled when Draco came in running shutting the door behind him with his eyes wide open and breathing heavy.
"What the hell happened? Seen a ghost?" you asked as you looked at him. He just nodded and you snorted.
"Come on Malfoy, we see ghosts everyday everywhere" you said. He swallowed and took a deep breath before speaking; "I've seen a monster. Black hooded flying monster drinking unicorn blood"
You were frightend by what he said and your eyes went wide open and you screamed and then he too screamed and you both run into your rooms.

You were at the benches with Caleb and Andrea. You were watching the quidditch game of Slytherin and Gryffindor. Of course you were cheering for your house but you were also cheering for Harry. A little later, there was something wrong with Harry's broom.
"What's happening?" you asked Caleb worriedly
"I dont know. Something's wrong" he said unto you.
Then suddenly something went wrong with the teacher's benches. All were shocked, but then laughed at it. Harry was then back on the game but a little while, he came stumbling down. You stood up and look if he was doing fine. It seems like he was about to throw up. But then out came the golden snitch out from Harry's mouth. You smiled gladly at him and then he stood up. He was looking around when he met your eyes. He smiled at you and you clapped for him.

Everyone then started to get out of the pitch and straight back to the castle. As you were walking with Andrea, you saw Harry with other Gryffindor quidditch players. You run to give him a hug and congratulate him. You then hugged Fred and George as well.
"Congratulations! That was a nice game!" you exclaimed.
"Aren't you upset?" Harry asked you
"I am. We don't like losing you know. Especially to Gryffindor, but you guys are my friends. So I'm happy for you" you smiled.
They then give you a group hug. After letting go, you started to go back to the castle for dinner.

After dinner, you headed straight back to your dorm. You just sat down by the couch when everyone else went to their room including Millicent and Andrea. A little later, Draco came in with Caleb and Blaise. You were about to go to your room when Draco started to talk.
"You should know where you stand Wittham. You're a Slytherin and not just any Slytherin" he said looking at you behind your back. You faced the three of them and exhaled deeply.
"They're friends. What do you expect me to do? Get mad at them just because we damn lose a game against them? Are you really that narrow? Grow up will you?" you told them before going up the stairs. Halfway through, you stopped and looked back at them.
"I expected better from you Caleb. better than this" you said before going to your room.

As you entered your room, Andrea and Millicent were already asleep. You just layed on your bed feeling upset. Then suddenly, an owl came knocking on you window. It was Maco, Chase's owl. It had a letter on it's beak and you get it and read it.

Hey, Princess.

It's just a game. Nothing much. Don't be upset. Aren't you happy for Harry, Fred and George? Well, I'm sure you are. But don't feel so down for your house. You'll get back . I know that. Get some sleep.

You just smiled at Chase's message to you. You then decided to write him a letter as well.

Hey big brother,

It's okay. I'm fine. I'm actually really happy for Harry, Fred and George. And thank you anyways. I was just little upset because of Caleb. I'll tell you tomorrow. Good night.

You fold the letter and let your owl, Miccu, send it to your brother. Your brother's letter made you feel better. You then decided to go to sleep when another owl went knocking on your window with a letter on it's beak. You then got up to read it.

I'm sorry for what we did earlier. I'm sorry for what Draco told you and sorry for not acting up against it. I promise I won't do it again.

You just let it down and drifted to sleep. You were not on the mood to deal with it.  You were just gonna talk about it tomorrow. And you're sure Chase and Liam would like to know about it.

You were outside with Chase and Liam just hanging out. A little later, Caleb went to where you are.
"Hey" he said. You just look up at him and said nothing. Chase and Liam just look at you then to Caleb and the looked at each other.
"So, might want to tell us what happen?" Liam asked
"Well, it was Draco. He said Y/N should know where she stands cause she's already a Slytherin and Gryffindors are our mortal rivals." Caleb explained
"And, what did you do about it?" Chase asked
"Nothing" said Caleb looking down. You were just watching Them settle it down.
"Well, I do too, expect better from you Caleb" said Liam
"As well as I do" said Chase
"Look Caleb, I know he's your friend but you're better to what he's up to. To what he is. You can put your head way up the clouds like him, but put your feet on the ground. Don't be flying all the way up like Draco, cause when you fall, it'll not only hurt you..." Liam told Caleb.
"It could break you" you continued.
"I'm sorry" was all Caleb said. You stand up and dusted your robe.
"It's okay. Just don't do it again" you said
"I won't" he said and you gave him a hug.
"Okay then. All is settled. Back to where we are" said Chase and you went back to what you were doing. Spending your time with them, happily.
