No One But You (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 41

After a few weeks, you've grown closer and closer to Draco. You hang out a lot, and some times, it's just the two of you.

Draco have to do something at the moment, as what he told you, and you are currently in the library. Reading some of next year's lessons. Advance reading has it perks and is not that hard to do.

After a few moments, an hour or so, you felt bored and decided to go down and at have some fresh air outside the castle. Or just hang out with some of your friends.

On your way out, you saw Harry, Ron and Hermione about to go somewhere. In a bit of a rush.

"Harry!" you called
"Oh, hey Y/N" Harry said as you got closer to him
"Where are you going?" you asked him
"To Hagrid's. Buckbeak's going to be executed" Harry said and you felt sorry.
"So that's where Draco's going" you said to yourself
"What was that?" Harry asked
"Nothing. Can I come with you?" you asked
"I'm sorry, Y/N. But no" Harry told you
"What? But, why?" you asked
"Harry, come on!" Ron shouted not far behind
"We're trying to save him" Harry told you
"What? I'm coming. I want to help" you said
"Y/N, I'm sorry. Maybe next time" Harry said and run to his friends.

You were thinking about following him. But not alone. You went back to your dorm expecting that you could see Caleb or at least one of your friends. And as you arrived, the common room was empty, your room was empty. So, you decided to wait for them.

While waiting at your common room, you decided to read for awhile. And not so long, the door came banging. And in came the one and only, Draco Malfoy.

"Hey" you called
"Oh, hey" he said not noticing you at first. He was holding his nose.
"What happened to your nose?" you asked
"Nothing" he said
"Come on, let me see" you told him and he just shrugged and sat down beside you

"It's burning red, nearly bleeding!" you gasp
"Yeah. I know" he told you
"What happened to you? Did you get into a fight!?" you asked
"No. Not really" he told you as he looks at you
"Then what?" you asked facing him
"Granger punched me" he told you and you went still. Then laughter came out your mouth

"Okay, I'll go in my room" Draco said a little pissed and stood up
"Hey, I'm sorry. Come back here. Please?" you asked him hiding your laugh. He just looked at you and sat back down. You faced him and pulled out your handkerchief from your pocket and lightly wipe his nose.

"Hermione did a great job. 10 points for Gryffindor" you said and laughed
"Ugh" Draco sighed in annoyance and stood up. You held his hand before he could go.
"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll stop" you told him and pulled him back the couch.
"Just rest your head, and you'll be alright" you told him as you let him lean back on the couch.

Draco closed his eyes as he rests.
"What are you doing here, alone, anyways?" he asked you
"Nothing. Just reading" you told him
"Typical" Draco said

You went back to reading still facing Draco. A few minutes later, you see Draco open his eyes and looked at you.

"You're really pretty, you know" he told you
"Uhm, thanks?" you told him
"I'm not joking" he told you
"I didn't say you are. I just don't like compliments" you told him
"Well, you better get used to it. Cause I'll spoil you with them" Draco said
"Are you serious?" you laughed
"Yeah, I am. I told you I'm not joking" he told you
"It's just that. That's so not you" you told him
"I can be nice too, you know" he told you
"I know" you smiled at him. Just then, the door opened and in came your friends.

"Hey lovebirds! What's up?" Blaise said as they came in
"Well...." you said and looked at Draco. Draco shook his head no to you not to tell them what happened. And you just smiled at him
"We were just talking" you told them
"Oh, okay" said Blaise and sat down
"Where's Caleb?" you asked
"Here!" Caleb said as he entered

"You're with her but she still looks for Caleb" said Blaise unto Draco. And you threw a pillow at him.
"Well, a best friend is a best friend" Caleb said with a smile on his face
"And that's why they call it a throw pillow" you told Blaise and your friends laughed
"Caleb, can I excuse you for a sec?" you asked your best friend and he nodded

You went near the window enough not to be heard by your friends.

"Harry, Ron and Hermione are up to something and we gotta help them" you told Caleb
"What? What are they up to?" Caleb asked
"They're going to save buckbeak but I think that's not it" you told Caleb
"Y/N, everytime they have their adventure, something happens, and I think we should stay out of it" Caleb told you
"Caleb, I want you to come with me. But if you don't want to, that doesn't mean I'm not going" you told him

Caleb just looked at you. And he doesn't know if he's going to come with you, or he's just going to keep you in your dorm house.

"Uhm, guys. Me and Y/N are just going to do something" Caleb told your friends. You smiled at him.
"We'll see you guys later" you told your friends and went out with Caleb following behind.

You went down Hagrid's hut, they were not there. So you decided you go down the forest just at the back of Hagrid's hut. It was already late. The moon shines brightly down the forest as you walk through it. You were running really really tired and decided to stop and catch your breath.

"Did you hear that?" you asked Caleb
"That sounds like....." Caleb said looking at you and around
"Are there any wolves here?" you asked
"We better move" said Caleb and you continued looking for your friends.
"There it is again" you said as you heard a hawl once again
"It's getting closer" said Caleb
"Caleb, it's....it's.... it's a werewolf" you said
"Y/N, run!" Caleb shouted as you see the werewolf run closer to you

You run for your lives as fast as you could.

"Ahh!" you shouted as the werewolf jumped over you. The werewolf attacked and gave you a scratch in you arm
"Expelliarmus!" Caleb chanted and the werewolf came stumbling down.
Caleb helped you up and you started running again.

Caleb looked back and saw the werewolf once again. The werewolf attacked once again and Caleb pushed you to get out of the way.
"Protego!" you shouted to protect Caleb but it was late. Caleb was knocked down with a wound in his forehead.
"Y/N, run!" Caleb shouted
"No!" you shouted back at him
"Stupefy!" you attacked the werewolf and was knocked out.

You helped Caleb up and decided to get back to the castle to get healed. Once you get there, you've been put into bandages and a rest to the hospital wing for the night. Not a little later, Harry came in with Ron and Hermione.

"What happened to you!?" Harry asked you and Caleb worried
"Well, I told you. I want to help" you told him
"And because of that, this happened" Harry said
"Harry, we're fine" said Caleb
"I won't let this happen again" said Harry
"Harry it's not your fault" Caleb said
"But it's because of me" Harry told you
"We'd do anything for a friend" you told Harry and hugged him
"It's just a scratch" you told him as you let go
"And I think Ron needs more attention" said Caleb and professor Dumbledore came in with Chase and Therese.

When Chase and Therese came to see you, Harry and Hermione went to talk with professor Dumbledore.

"Don't ever do that again!" said Chase as he hugged you tight
"You too" he added as he pulled Caleb
"What happened out there?" Therese asked
"Long story" you told them
"Cut it" said Chase
"Werewolf" said Caleb
"Don't ever go outside in this time of night ever again!" Chase told you and Caleb
"Okay" you smiled as well as Caleb
"Now take some rest. I'll be staying here as well" Chase said
"You're not allowed" you told your brother
"I already asked permission from professor Dumbledore" he told you and pulled two chairs in between your bed and Caleb's.
"Now sleep" said Chase
"I'll get going then. I'll see you guys in the morning" said Therese and went back to her dorm.

After a few days, you were healed and everything was back to normal. And in a few days time, you hang out more with Harry and started a new level of friendship. He told you a lot of things even the thing about Sirius Black being his godfather. You really got closer to him. While your relationship with Draco got closer and closer to the point that you were used to hanging out with him alone. And it was amazing how you you balanced your time with your brother, your Slytherin friends, Gryffindor friends and some time alone with Draco.

Now, you were all gathered in the great hall for your feast before you go home. You were all really happy. You were sitting next to Draco who is having fun talking to your friends. You look around and see your brother talking to his friends and Therese. Fourth and Fifth talking about something funny. And oh, Harry got a new broom. Firebolt.
