No One But You (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 47

Three days left before the first task. All of you were already on the peak of excitement. No one can concentrate with studies. All were imagining things that would happen or what would the first task be.

All your classes are done. You sat down the great hall by your table following Andrea and Millicent. Sitting down holding your books and parchment.

"Have you seen the boys?" you asked pulling out your quill and ink to start with your Herbology essay.
"I didn't" Millicent said putting down her parchment
"Me either" said Andrea
"I wonder what are they up to. They've been like that for a few weeks now" you stated
"Maybe they're just doing one of their things" Andrea said as you all started your essays

"Why do we even have to write an essay in Herbology!?" Millicent exclaimed
"I know right" you said
"Well, we didn't have time to further discuss what's on the book, so yeah" Andrea said
"Good for you, you like Herbology" Millicent told Andrea
"Y/N here is good at it" Andrea said
"But I didn't say I like it" you told them and started writing.

After some time, you were already halfway your essay when you felt bored and wanted a break.

"Wanna have some break?" you asked your friends
"Finally! Someone said it!" Millicent exclaimed
"I was nearly done" Andrea said
"We'll finish it in our room" you told your friends as you and Millicent started packing up.
"Where are we heading anyways?" Millicent asked
"Let's just put our things back to the dungeons and let's look for the boys?" you suggested
"It's okay for me" said Millicent looking at Andrea who's fixing her things
"Okay" Andrea said once she was ready and you went on your way.

You went down to your dorm house and straight to your room you go. After putting down your things, you decided to change into your normal clothes and just put on your robes on top of it. And after getting ready, you went outside to look for the boys.

You went outside the castle to see if they were playing outside but there's no luck.

"Where should we go next?" Andrea asked
"Maybe down the lake?" you suggested
"Okay. Let's go" said Andrea and you went on your way.

Arriving by the lake, there were students from Beauxbaton and Durmstrang just playing around as well as your fellow Hogwarts students. You look around to see where the boys are but none. You even tried the old apple tree. But they weren't there.

"Now, where?" Andrea asked as you stopped for a rest
"Ugh, where are those boys?" you stated
"Maybe the pitch?" Millicent suggested
"Maybe. Come on" you said and once again, you went on your way.

You reached the pitch to see some students just hanging out.

"Hey, pumpkin" the familiar voices called
"Fourth, Fifth" you greeted as you see the twins coming near you
"Hi, Millicent, Andrea" the twins smiled to your friends
"Hi" Andrea waved and Millicent just nodded
"What are you doing here?" Fred asked
"We're looking for our friends. Have you seen them?" You asked
"You mean Caleb?" George asked
"Yeah. And Blaise too" said Andrea
"Don't forget Malfoy" Millicent added
"Have you seen them Fred?" George asked his twin
"They came here maybe an hour ago?" Fred stated
"Oh, yeah. They came to call on Crabbe and Goyle" said George
"Where were they heading?" you asked
"We don't know" said George
"But the direction was back to the castle" said Fred
"Okay. Thanks guys" you hugged them
"Anytime" smiled Fred and you waved at them as you went on your way. The twins waved back at you as they watch you go back to the castle.

Back to the castle, you were walking with your friends trying to catch up with some air.

"Y/N! Y/N! Y/N!" two voices shouted
You turned to see Crabbe and Goyle running to you
"What is it?" you asked
"Yeah. And where are the boys?" Andrea added
"Something happened" Crabbe said catching his breath
"It's...it's....it's Malfoy" said Goyle catching his breath
"What happened to him!? Where is he!?" you exclaimed at Crabbe and Goyle
"The empty hall on the right of the third floor" said Crabbe catching his breath

As soon as you heard what Crabbe said, you run with your friends following behind you. Your robes flying behind you as you run and you felt your eyes stung as your heart starts beating faster and faster. As you went up the stairs you felt very nervous and very worried.

As you see the door of the empty hall on the right of the third floor, you started to run faster. And as you opened the door, you shouted.

"Draco!?!"

A tear fell down from your eye when you opened the door and see you friends standing in the middle of the empty hall. You can see Blaise, Caleb, a few Slytherin friends of Malfoy but Draco isn't there. You slowly walk towards Caleb who bowed his head with Andrea and Millicent close behind. The hall was filled with hanging strimmers and some balloons on the floor. You also walked in a dark green carpet that starts from the door that ends in a big circle in the middle of the hall.

You hear footsteps running as you turned your head to the door to see Crabbe and Goyle running with Parkinson and her goons. As you see it wasn't Draco, you turn back to look at Caleb.

"Where's Draco?" you asked looking at Caleb's eyes then to Blaise who was standing next to him.
"Where is he!?" you screamed when they refuse to talk. Your tears fell down from your eyes down to your cheeks as you felt a sting in your heart. You heard gasps but you didn't mind and you just put your hands to your face covering it.

You wiped your tears and looked back at Caleb who suddenly smiled.
"Why are you smiling! Stop playing games with me!" you screamed as Caleb hugged you
"I'm sorry for making you cry" Caleb said and let you go. Just then, you heard Andrea squealed and you turn your head instantly.

Your tears started to fall down from your eyes streaming down your cheeks as you see Draco standing behind you. You hugged him instantly.

"I'm sorry if you worried so much" Draco whispered at you as he hugged you back. You let go and punched his chest.
"Damn you!" you shouted at him
"You have no idea how worried I was thinking what could've happened to you!" you added screaming at Draco
"I'm sorry" Draco chuckled and you punched his shoulder once again.
"Ouch!" Draco smiled stepping back.

That's when you noticed he was holding a bouquet of white rose. And when he noticed that you were looking at what he was holding, he stepped forward in front of you.

"I'm really sorry" Draco said wiping your tears away
"What's this? What's going on?" you asked him
"I'll never make you cry again. I promise, I'm sorry" Draco told you
"This is for you. Those are your favorite, right?" Draco added
"How'd you know?" you asked
"Well, I got a little help" he smiled at you looking behind you. You look behind you as well and Caleb and Blaise stepped aside. You see your brother, Chase, waved and smiled at you

"What is this?" you asked once again
"I've been preparing for this, with Caleb and Blaise that's why we haven't been hanging out with you lately" Draco explained
"I'm getting ready for this day to finally ask you" Draco added
"Ask me what?" you asked
"Y/N, we've been hanging out for four years. And I have been acting up just to let you know I like you. And now, I'm sure something changed. And I want it to be the change for the both of us" Draco stated
"What? What change are you talking about?" you asked him

"I want this thing between as to change and I hope you do, too" he told you. As the words slipped from Draco's lips, you started over thinking. Is he mad at you? Is there something wrong? Did you do something wrong? What's happening? Just then, your thoughts were interrupted by the voice of the boy standing in front you asking the very question you wanted to hear to make this scene over.

"Y/N, in front of everyone here, will you be my girlfriend?" Draco asked you. You smiled feeling butterflies in your stomach and sunshine in your heart
"YES!" you shouted and hugged your boyfriend tightly as he hugged you back and spinned you around.
