After three days, everything was going so well. You get along with the other students sharing the school grounds with you. Professor Dumbledore managed to give them few house rooms to be in. Your friends get along with them as well.
"I'm just gonna go have some time with my Gryffindor friends" you told Draco after you spent some time together later that afternoon.
"Can you just stay with me?" Draco pleaded holding your hand
"We'll have some time together again, later. I want to spend some time with them too" you told him
"Ugh. Okay" he said letting you go
"Don't worry, I won't be gone for long" you told him
"Okay. I'll just spend some time with Blaise and Caleb" he told you
"As always" you told him and went on your way as he went to his.
Draco has been spending more time with Blaise and Caleb than before. Wonder what's going on.
"Hey, Harry" you called as you see him waiting just outside the castle
"Oh, hey Y/N" he greeted you
"How have you been?" you asked him
"Oh, just fine. What about you?" he returned the question as you sat down beside him
"Just fine. Where's Ron and Hermione?" you asked
"They're just getting something. I'm surprised Malfoy's not with you" he told you
"Oh, yeah. I wanted to spend time with you guys" you told him
"So, what do you think of professor Moody?" you asked
"Well, he's good. But a little disturbing" Harry told you
"Well, that's a lot for Neville" you laughed
"Yeah, those curses terrified him" Harry laughed as well as you talk about your class earlier this morning in Defense Against the Dark Arts about the three unforgivable curses.
"Would you mind if we go around?" Harry asked
"No. Not at all" you smiled at him.
You both stood up and went for a stroll.
"Who do you think will compete in the tournament?" Harry asked you
"I don't know. But for sure, it's gonna be Krum for Durmstrang" you told him
"Yeah. He's a proud one. But what about ours?" Harry asked
"Chase said Cedric's planning to" you told him
"Oh, okay. Wouldn't Chase want to enter?" he asked you
"Oh, no. I wouldn't let him either" you told him
"So, being a headboy is enough for him, huh?" Harry stated
"Yeah. That's enough duty for him" you smiled at Harry
"Wanna go down the lake?" you asked Harry
"Yeah. Sure" said Harry
"Great. Let's go" you told him and started your way down the lake
"You seem fascinated with waters, huh" Harry told you
"Yeah. It calms me. Sometimes I want to be just a mermaid swimming every water I want to go to" you told Harry
"A mermaid with the fins and all?" Harry asked
"Well, sort of. Just the tail and then half human" you told him and you shared a laugh
"Hey, going somewhere without us?" someone called
"Oh, hey Fourth, hey Fifth" you smiled at Fred and George
"Hey, pumpkin" Fred called
"What's up?" George called
"Hey, guys" said Harry
"Hey, Harry" chimed the twins
"Where are we heading?" Fred asked
"Down the lake" you told them
"The inner mermaid in you wants to relax, huh" George stated and you just smiled. Because of the times you've spent together with the twins, you've known each other so well already.
"So, excited for the tournament?" George asked
"You bet" smiled Harry
"And we're planning to enter" smiled Fred
"You're too young for that" you told them
"Not with the right potion, pumpkin" said George
"Oh, so you are planning" you stated
"You bet" said Fred and the four of you shared a laugh as you sat down by the grass near the lake.
You were all having a fun time, sharing stories and sharing a laugh. You haven't been relaxed just like that for the last three days. Well, you were resting when you're with Draco and your friends. But not relaxed to the point that you're effortlessly happy.
"When Chase graduates, I'll always want to spend more time like this" you stated
"Well, why not start now?" George said
"Well, of course, I'll be spending more time with him. It's his last year and his head boy duties are eating up our bonding time" you told
"But no matter what, we're always here for you" Fred stated
"That's right" said Harry
"Thank you, guys. You sure are one of the best" you smiled at them.
A week have passed, and everyone is eager to know who are getting to be part of the tournament. And everyone is putting their names on the Goblet of Fire in the middle of the hall. Everyone is watching all the aspirants who put their name on the Goblet and are cheering for their schools.
You are just sitting around with your friends watching everyone. In came Fluer Delacour, she went pass the circle around the Goblet and put her name in. Everyone in Beauxbaton cheered.
"Let's go Fleur!" shouted the one beside you and you just looked at him.
"I'm sorry" he said, smiled at you then hugged you. You just rolled your eyes at him.
"Okay, I'll stop it already. No more hitting on other girls" he promised you
"No. I don't care. Just do what you want and be with who you want" you told him. Still, he doesn't let go of you in his arms.
"But it's you who I want to be with" he pouted at you
"Whatever, Malfoy" you rolled your eyes at him. And then he smiled and tickled you.
"Okay, okay, stop" you laughed and he smiled at you.
Just then, Viktor Krum came in to put his name. Durmstrang cheered for him as well as the girls who adored him and the boys who idolized him.
"Go Krum!" you cheered as you tried to fake it
"That won't work on me. You don't like Krum" Draco told you
"Yeah. You're right I don't like him" you said and Draco just smiled at you.
And in came Cedric being pushed by his friends.
"Oohh, Diggory is taking a shot" Draco stated
"I know" you stated
"Why don't your brother they too?" Draco asked you
"If he tries to, I'll be the one putting him into trials" you told him
"I guess being headboy is enough" Draco laughed
"You got that right" you said
And after Cedric put his name in, you see Fred and George came in with two vials in their hands. And Hermione seems to say something that caused them to talk to her.
"I'm just gonna check on the twins" you said and stood up from your seat next to Draco
"What?" Draco asked and didn't bother to follow when he saw where you're going.
"So, you're going to try it, huh" you stated as you sat down beside Fred
"You bet we are" said Fred and Hermione just rolled her eyes
"Let's do this" said George and they got ready
"Just watch" you told Hermione
"Bottoms up" chimed the twins and they drink the liquid from the vial they were holding.
The twins then jumped inside the circle surrounding the Goblet and put their name in the Goblet. Nothing happened. So, the twins high fived each other. Just then, they were threw out of the circle and dropped by the hall looking not as young as they should be. You all laughed at them as the twins argued.
"You said it would work!"
"This is your fault!"
"No. This is your fault!"
