December 28. Caleb's birthday celebration. You were welcomed at the Morgan residence by the birthday celebrant himself, Caleb. You then entered the lovely home of the Morgans with Harry, Liam and Chase. After sending Harry, Liam and Chase to your table, you went back to Caleb. You've always been his pair in all of his birthdays, so you stood with him by the door. You snake your hand on his arm and kissed his cheek.
"Happy Birthday to the best boy best friend ever" you said smiling at him
"Thanks" Caleb said as he nudged his head on your head. Then another guests arrived. Blaise.
"Hey, Happy birthday Caleb!" Blaise exclaimed and hugged the both of you. He's with his parents. Then came in Andrea and Millicent.
"Happy birthday Caleb!" Andrea and Millicent chimed and they hugged the both of you. They were both with their parents as well. You guided them to the party area and let them sit to one of the tables.
Not a little later, Draco arrived with his mom. He greeted Caleb a happy birthday and hugged the both of you. And as soon as Draco and his mom arrived, the party started. Caleb went with his mom and dad to start the party and you walked with Draco to where your friends are.
"So, Potter is here" Draco stated as you walk going to the party hall
"Yeah, he's with us" you told him
"Nice for him" he said
"Can you be nice to him at least for tonight?" you requested to Draco
"I can stay away instead" he told you
"Thanks" you smiled at him and he smiled back as you get near your friends' table.
You were about to go when Draco grab a hold of your hand.
"Where are you going?" he asked you
"Uhm, to our table? I'm with my brother, Liam and Harry, remember?" you told him
"Can you come join us?" Draco asked you still holding your hand
"Okay, I'll be back later" you told him and smiled. He smiled back at you and let go of your hand and took his seat. You then went back to your table taking your seat next to Harry and Liam.
As the party started, you were having a good time with everyone around you. You were eating and as Caleb receives his gifts, everyone had to say something first. Everyone had done giving their speeches and gifts and it was your turn. You were the last one. So, you stood up, carried your gift with you which is a box full of your pictures with Caleb since you were little and a little box with a special pin inside. It was a round pin that has a face of a roaring jaguar in the middle. Caleb loves jaguar, and you bought it and customized the design just for him. You then walk in front, next to where Caleb is, pulling your dress up slightly so you wouldn't step on it. And as you stood in front of everyone, you began your speech.
"To the best friend I ever have, happy happy birthday. We've been together for almost a decade now, and we're still together and getting stronger. We've been with other friends, you've had new ones and I did too. But in the end of the day, we would still have each other's back. I wouldn't be as strong as I am today without you. You always make me happy when I'm sad and feeling low, you always know how to cheer me up and you never fail to make me laugh. I know sometimes you get annoyed by me. But I just want you to know that, I love it when you're annoyed" then everyone laughed. And when the laughter died, you continued " You've always been there for me. And I promise you that I will always be here for you, no matter what. We may fight over our assignments or crazy projects in school but you can always count on me. We've always been like twins! And just like real siblings, no one can tear us apart. I love you so much. I hope you enjoyed your day" you smiled at Caleb and everyone applauded. Some are even cheering for you. You see your mom and Caleb's mom at the corner holding their handkerchiefs up to their eyes. Probably shedding tears as they know exactly what you were talking about. Because they watched you two grew up together.
Caleb helped you out of the small stage and gave you a tight hug. You return back the hug as tight as he hugged you resting your head on his shoulder.
"Thank you so much. And I love you too. Keep on mind that I'll always be here" Caleb whispered not letting you go.
When the both of you let go of the hug, you smiled and laugh at each other as he guided you back to your seat. When Caleb was requested to give a speech, he gladly said yes and stood in front of everyone in the middle of the small stage, and he started to give a short speech.
"I just wanna say thank you to everyone who came here tonight despite the cold weather. To my parents who always give me the best and who made this party come true, thank you so much and I love you both. To all my friends, family friends, thank you for coming. And to my brothers, Liam and Chase, to my best friend slash twin sister Y/N, thank you guys for everything and I love you so much. I hope everyone had a great evening!" Caleb said and ending it with a bow and a genuine smile
Everyone applauded and get back to business, eating desserts. You then stood up and told Harry, Liam and Chase that you are going to join your friends' table. They said sure, and you went on your way. You sat down next Draco and started with dessert.
"That was a very touching speech" smiled Blaise
"Thanks" you smiled "So, how's the evening and the party?" you asked them
"Great" said Blaise
"Fun" said Millicent
"Amazing" said Andrea
"Probably what my party would look like" Draco stated and you all laughed.
You were having fun talking about all kinds of stuff when Caleb joined you. He sat down next to you and joined in the conversation having a fun night.
After a week, it was already time to go back to Hogwarts. And in your last week, the Weasleys had visited you and had a wonderful day. You played with Fred, George, Ron and Ginny together with Harry and Chase. Liam would do paperworks from his office at the muggle world. He was, what the muggles called, the CEO in training at a very young age of 18. Well, wizards things you know, a little advanced. By the time Chase joins him, he'll be the president and would train Chase as well. Family business.
You were currently at the platform ready to board the train with Chase, Caleb and Harry. Liam sent you to the platform once again. The boys had said their good byes to Liam and started to board the train to meet with yours, and their friends.
"Bye Liam. I'll miss you so much again. I'll write you. See you soon" you hugged him and gave him a peck on the cheek.
"Goodbye, Candy. Take good care of yourself. I'll write you back and I'll miss you too. See you soon" Liam said as he hugged you and gave a kiss on your forehead before he watched you go and board the train.
As the train starts moving, you waved at Liam as he waved back at you and slowly walking backwards to his car, ready to go back home and back to the muggle world. You then searched for your friends' compartment and sit with them. You were all sharing your holiday adventures and talked about Caleb's party and what things would you do back at Hogwarts.
