By the weekend of the week that everyone have put their names in the Goblet, it was time to know who's going to compete in the tournament.
You were all gathered in the great hall to know who were about to compete. Just then, professor Dumbledore came in to announce who would they be. And as professor Dumbledore started, a paper came out from the fire.
"From Beauxbaton, Fluer Delacour!" he exclaimed and everyone from Beauxbaton cheered for their champion.
And then, the second paper flew out.
"From Durmstrang, Viktor Krum!" And the crowd went loud as the men from Durmstrang cheered for their champion.
Lastly, the paper you've been waiting for, came out.
"From Hogwarts, Cedric Diggory!" And everyone went wild for your champion. Just then, all the champions are chosen, they were gathered in their room and everyone must go to theirs as the ceremony finished.
But wait, the Goblet went crazy. Another paper was thrown out. Professor Dumbledore catches it. And an unexpected champion shall join the rest.
"Harry Potter"
You see Harry hesitated to get up and go with professor Dumbledore. And everyone of you doesn't expect him to be in the tournament. He's too young for that. Everyone went furious and shouted that Harry's too young for that and that he shouldn't be allowed to be in there. Wherein, they were right. Just in a mean way.
"Can't get enough attention" Draco sneered
"Draco, that's not nice!" you told him as you stood up
"He just keep on getting into things when no one seems to notice him" he told you
"And he didn't mean to do so! Even this one is not any of his ideas!" you almost screamed
"How do you know" Draco casually said
"Because I know him better than you do!" you exclaimed and started to walk away
"Oh, really?" Draco said feeling annoyed
"Draco, stop it! I won't let you talk to her in any of your mean, childish ways" Caleb said and stood up to follow you. Andrea and Millicent followed behind as well.
"Wrong move, mate. Now she's mad at you" Blaise told Draco as he still feels annoyed.
You rushed out the great hall and went down to your house and lounge in the common room still upset. Then Caleb, Andrea and Millicent came in.
"What's wrong with him!? Can't he just let it go?" he stated
"Well, you know Draco. He's not fond of Harry" Caleb told you as he sat down beside you
"Yeah. He's always like that when it comes to Harry" said Andrea
"You should've get used to it by now" said Millicent
"I know. But Harry's my friend. I just can't let that go" you told them
"It'll be fine. It's just that, they don't like each other. They'd get the hang of just ignoring each other when they'd have enough" Caleb told you
"I wish. Draco would just lit a fire on it again" you told him
"Then, you should trust Harry" Caleb told you
"Yeah. Harry would understand" Andrea stated
"I guess that's okay" you sighed "I'll just rest this one out" you said and stood up and went to your room
"Good night" said Caleb as he stood up
"Night, Caleb" you told him and closed your door.
The next day, you woke up early. You look around to see your friends still fast asleep. You decided to take a bath and be ready for today's classes.
After getting ready, you got your things and went down stairs to read and wait for your friends to wake up and have breakfast with you.
As you were going down the stairs to your common room, you noticed a certain blonde boy was sitting on the couch by himself. You sighed to yourself and make way to sit on the other end of the couch.
As you sat down, the blonde boy sit down properly as he was leaning by the back of the couch with his eyes closed.
"Good morning" he greeted
"Good morning" you simply said
"Had a good night's sleep?" he asked
"Yes" you answered
He nodded his head and went silent. You looked at him before speaking.
"Had trouble sleeping?" you asked
"Yes" he answered. And it was you turn to just nod and be silent.
You then opened your book and started reading today's lesson. And the boy beside you seemed to want to tell you something.
"Y/N, look. I'm sorry for what I acted yesterday" he started and you looked at him.
"I know I shouldn't have argued with you like that. He's your friend, I know that" he told you meaning every word he says
"And you don't like him. I know that" you stated
"Well, yeah. I don't like him. But I'll try my best to avoid any arguments like that again, with you" he said. And you just smiled at him.
"Thanks, Draco" you said and hugged him
"So, am I forgiven?" he asked when you let go
"Well, that is if you want to" you told him
"Of course I want to!" he exclaimed and hugged you. You just smiled and hugged him back.
"Okay, I'm just gonna go prepare for today and get my things" he said and rushed to his room
"Okay" you laughed seeing him startled.
A few minutes later, Andrea and Millicent came down all ready to start your day. Not too long when the boys came in as well. You all went down the great hall for breakfast as you see the press came in with no other than Rita Skeeter. And as a family of business personality, you know Rita Skeeter. Not only is she a talented journalist, but also a liar. She's probably here to talk to the students who will compete in the Triwizard Tournament that she is covering.
"Isn't she the writer of most of the Daily Prophet articles?" Millicent asked as she saw Skeeter
"Yeah. The liar one" said Caleb
"Yeah. Hears a juicy story, there she go" said Blaise
"And then she cooks it" added Andrea
"And serves it to everyone" you added
"And every poor and ignorant minds eat it" Draco finished
"Okay, okay. You know a her and I don't. Now let's eat" said Millicent and you all laughed your way in the great hall.
You were all nicely seated at your table and started eating. You were beside Draco, as usual, and Andrea and Millicent looks at you puzzled.
"What?" Draco asked your friends as he noticed they were staring.
"You two, are, okay?" Andrea asked
"Oh, yeah. We made up this morning" said Draco and your two friends made shocked faces. Draco just looked at you with a puzzled one.
"Oh my gosh, guys! It's made up not made out!" you almost screamed at them
"Oh, okay. Do you want that?" Draco laughed beside you
"Oh, shut it. No!" you slapped his shoulder as your friends laughed at you
"You look cute together" Millicent commented
"You think?" you asked
"Absolutely!" smiled Draco as you rolled your eyes.
"Whatever" you said and Draco just poked your cheek still smiling.
"So, hey, ready to start the day?" Caleb asked as you all finished eating
"Mine's already started. And it's beautiful" said Draco as he looks at you
"Mine's not that bad either" you smiled and your friends laughed.
You all then went to your classes together. You, Andrea and Millicent headed your way as the boys followed. All of you talking about things that are happening around and how excited you are about the upcoming tournament that will start of with the first task in just two weeks.
