No One But You (Draco X Reader)

Chapter 9

After that night Harry, Ron and Hermione told you they were finally doing what they planned to do, you were spending more time at the infirmary. Harry was taken there after what happened to him and professor Quirell. He's been out for days and you were worried.

You were down by the great hall about to get some breakfast but you aren't comfortable. You then went back to the infirmary to look at Harry. But as you were one step close to the door, someone caught you by your waist and carried you.
"And where do you think you're going, litte miss?" the guy ask
"Liam, put me down! I'm going to see Harry" you said
"You haven't eaten yet" he told you
"I'll eat later, I promise. Just let me see him" you said
"Okay. I'll come with you" he told you as he put you down
"But how about Sophie? She won't be eating with you?" you ask him
"It's fine. It's your last day as first year and I wanna spend it with you" he told you as he drag you out the door to the infirmary.

As you reached the infirmary, professor Dumbledore just came out.
"Good day miss Wittham. Came to see your friend?" he asked you
"Good day, professor. Yes I am" you smiled
"You're such a very good friend to a Gryffindor like him considering you're a Slytherin" he smiled at you
"Thanks, professor" you smiled and went in.
"And good day to you, Head Boy" he said to Liam
"Good day professor" he smiled at professor Dumbledore
"You take really good care of her. Like she's one precious gem" professor Dumbledore said
"Yes, professor. She's a princess to me" Liam smiled
"I wish I had done the same thing. But it's okay as long as I see someone like you taking really good care of their little sister, or cousin" professor Dumbledore smiled
"Thank you sir" Liam smiled and professor Dumbledore went on his way while Liam was left by the door waiting for you.

"Harry! You're awake!" you exclaimed as you gave him a hug.
"You got me so worried, you idiot!" you said unto him punching him in the arm
"Ouch, hey. I'm sorry" he giggled at you
"It's fine. I'm really glad you're okay" you said as you hugged him once again
"Thanks, y/n. For being here" he smiled at you
"Of course. I'll always be here" you smiled at him
"Okay. Time to go now. I'll have to change for breakfast" he laughed
"Oh, okay. I'll see you later" you said and you went on your way back to Liam.

You were at the Ravenclaw table while the awarding of the house cup is on going. You were beside Liam and in front of your brother Chase.
"Where's Wittham anyways?" Draco asked Caleb
"Over there" Caleb pointed at you "Liam wanted to spend the day with her starting from breakfast until we go home" Caleb said and went back to listening.

Professor Dumbledore had announced the winner of the house cup and unfortunately, Slytherin came in second place. You were so upset you keep on banging your head on Liam's shoulder.
"I. Hate. This. I. Will. Get. That. Cup. Back!" you said as you bang your head on Liam's shoulder.
"Hey, stop. I'm sure you'll get it back. Don't hurt yourself" Liam told you as he hold your head and kissed it before letting it go but you kept on banging it on his shoulder.

On the other side, Caleb, Andrea and Millicent were laughing at you.
"What are you laughing at? We lost!" exclaimed Draco
"Look at her" said Andrea still looking at you banging your head on Liam's shoulder. Draco smiled at you and felt a little ease.
"She's always like that when she's upset. It kinda hurt though. When she bangs her head to your shoulder. You'll feel like your shoulders are sore because of her head" Caleb said smiling looking at you.

It's time to go back home. You were walking with Andrea and Millicent. And behind you were Caleb, Draco and Blaise. As you were walking to get to the train, you saw Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"I'll get back at you, Harry!" You shouted at Harry. Harry, Ron and Hermione looked at you.
"I'm sure you will" Harry said and smiled at you. You smiled at him and wave. He waved back at you and went on with Ron and Hermione.
"Very Slytherin" Draco commented
"Of course I am!" you said unto him.
You continued walking until you reached the train.
"Hey, I was thinking, maybe we could share a compartment. The six of us" said Blaise.
"That's nice" said Andrea
"Yeah. That's a nice idea. But, I'll be with Liam for now. It's my last day and it's his last year. So, I wanna spend it with him until his graduation" you said to them
"Yeah. Me too" said Caleb "Maybe next year?" Caleb suggested
"Sure will" smiled Blaise
"Then it's back with Crabbe and Goyle, Blaise" said Draco
"Can we join you? I don't wanna be with Pansy" said Andrea
"Sure thing" said Blaise as you reach the train.

You and Caleb said your goodbye to them and went on with Liam and Sophia. You then saw Chase talking to that Slytherin girl, Natasha.
"What is he up to?" you said
"He likes her?" Caleb asked
"Yes. Yes he does" said Liam
"You guys. It's okay. I think she's nice" Sophia said
"Mmm" you, Caleb and Liam hummed in unison not sure to agree with Sophia. Finally, Chase came to you. You and Caleb were kicking stones while waiting for him and it seems like there's none left to where you're standing.

You, Caleb, Chase, Liam and Sophia stayed at one compartment and was spending telling stories about your year. You were seated next to your brother by the window. While Caleb, Liam and Sophia are telling stories and laughing, you asked your brother a question.
"So Chase, you really like her?"
"Well, yeah. Yes, I do. Why, don't you?"
"I don't know. And I don't think she likes me either" you said looking down
"Hey, don't be sad. It'll be fine"
"Would you still be there for me?"
"Of course! You're my sister, my princess. Our princess"
"Promise?"
"I promise"
"I love you, Chase" you said as you hugged him
"I love you more" he hugged you back. He then let you fall asleep in his shoulder until you reach the station.

It was three weeks before Liam and Sophia's graduation and you want to spend it with Liam. Before he graduates and go to work.
"Liam? Can you stay at our place?" you asked him
"You mean, for tonight?" he asked
"I mean, before your graduation" you said looking down to your shoes. He knelt down to your level and smiled.
"Don't be sad, okay? I'll spend my time with you. And when I'm gone to work, you'll always get to owl me, right?" he said unto you smiling. You just hug him not wanting to show your teary eyes.

All your years from when you can remember until now, you spent it with Liam. Aside from Chase, he's your older brother. He's always there when you're afraid, sad, lonely, mad, happy. No matter what, he was always there. He never left you. He was at every birthday you spent, to every first time you had. Your first time at your family company, your first time at every store, your first time at Diagon Alley, your first time to fly a broom, your first fall, your first bruise, first scratch almost everything. He was always there. And now, it has to be you. You had to go on without him always by your side. He'll be busy with work and you'll be away at Hogwarts. And you don't want him to know that it breaks your heart letting him go farther from you. Sure you have your brother and Caleb, but it's never the same without him. You love him as much as he loves you back. He was one of your very first best friend and very first love. Him and Chase. You don't know if you can stand a day without seeing one of them. But it has to change. And it will start in just three weeks.
