My eyes slowly opened, realizing that I wasn't in my room. Oh, the clinic, great, so that means I lost to that Singularity? Aish. I quickly stood up, but someone stopped me.
"Stay, don't move, you're badly hurt." A familiar voice stopped me.
"Who's there?" I rubbed my eyes, since everything is still blurry. "Oh.. Jihyo unnie, you're here."
"Darn right I am, I was worried sick when I they told me you got your arse kicked." She teased me.
"Shut up unnie, she was... stronger than I expected, way stronger." I sighed deeply.
"There's always room for improvement hun, cheer up." She patted my head lightly, making me comfortable.
"No, I heard her say something before I blacked out" I protested.
"What?" She looked at me curiously, those big eyes of her starting at me intently.
"Before that, where are the others?" I asked.
"We're here loser. HAHAHA." Chaeyoung barged in, along with Dahyun. They brought different types of fruit. I guess those were for me.
"Shut up, tch." I rolled my eyes.
"Now tell us Tzuyu-ah, what did she tell you?" Jihyo asked once more.
"She said something about... Stopping time..." I told them, not bothering to glance at them since I myself can't believe it as well.
"No way... It can't be. Then the prophecy, it's true. This must mean Chaeyoung isn't the first to awaken." Jihyo explained.
"So there's people like me too?" Chaeyoung chirped.
"Yes, for now, this is a wild guess, we don't have any proof yet." Jihyo nodded in agreement.
"Ugh can you guys go now? I want to rest." I growled.
"Alright, alright, you guys should relax for now, tomorrow's going to be lecture day." Jihyo said.
"What? Are you serious? This is going to be boooooooriiiing." Dahyun mumbled, pissed.
"Let's just go, It's getting late after all." I said to them.
And with that, we all agreed to go home.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Morning came and I woke up to the sound of Chaeyoung banging different utensils in front of me. God, this girl, she loves to rub it in my face that she's one of the Singularities. I really don't care but this is annoying, I mean you wake up, with dozens of utensils flying, making different sounds, now who wouldn't get pissed because of that?
"OKAY STOP FOR FUCK SAKE CHAEYOUNG."
"Not until you wake up, yoda~"
"OKAY OKAY I'M AWAKE NOW STOP." I quickly stood up.
"Good, now go get ready, we'll be late soon, breakfast's already ready so go get yourself washed."
"Now get out, I'm going to get myself ready." I pushed her out of the room.
Ahh some time alone, finally. I went to the washroom to take a short shower, since we'll be late soon. I checked my body and there were still bruises from yesterday's fight. Ugh, I didn't see them yesterday, great now my gorgeous face is tainted. I quickly finished showering and went to the mirror to treat my bruises. Luckily, they weren't that bad so they'll be gone in at least two days or so. I wore my training gear and speedily went downstairs to where breakfast was prepared.
"Finally you're done, hurry up and eat your breakfast, we need to go soon." Dahyun reminded me.
"Chill, Let me eat." I quickly ate my breakfast and joined them.
"Good, now let's go."
We walked our way to the Institute since it was actually close. It only took fifteen minutes to walk to. To my surprise, there were a lot of ordians today. Yes people who train and plan to join the cavalry are called ordians. We hurriedly went to our chamber, luckily the instructor wasn't there yet. Entering the room, eyes were on us yet again. Suddenly one of them spoke.
"Look! It's that half blood garbage!" One guy shouted
"She doesn't deserve to join the cavalry."
"I know, her being is a disgrace itself."
People continued to murmur, and talk bad about Dahyun. She looked down, tears were threatening to fall down from her eyes, but I quickly pat her back comforting her. We sat at the back, hoping to avoid their endless insults, but they never stopped. I had enough, they're too much, I was about to scream, when someone shouted first.
"HEY WILL YOU GUYS SHUT UP, IT'S NOT HER FAULT SHE WAS BORN THAT WAY, BUT WE'RE ALL STILL THE SAME. HALF BLOOD OR NOT, IT'S NOT OUR PHYSICAL ASPECT THAT MATTERS. WHAT MATTERS IS THAT SHE CAME HERE TO FIGHT FOR ONE CAUSE, AND THAT CAUSE IS THE SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE INSIDE HERE." A guy shouted, wait, he's that guy with a rectangular smile from yesterday. After that, everyone went silent, the boy walked up to us, smiling at Dahyun.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Mhm." Dahyun nodded, not glancing at the guy.
"I'm Taehyung, and you must be Dahyun right?" The guy introduced himself to us, showing his signature rectangular smile.
"Go away, why don't you insult me as well?" Dahyun glared at the guy named Taehyung.
"I'm not like them, you seem special." he smiled at Dahyun.
"R-Really? T-Thanks..." Dahyun looked down once more.
"Don't mention it, don't let them get to you, just believe okay?"
"Ne." she smiled bitterly.
Just then, the instructor entered. Silencing everyone inside the chamber. Taehyung went back to his sit, beside the guy he fought against yesterday. The instructor started to explain different techniques in surviving a war, when suddenly the door flew open. A short-haired girl went inside, wait, isn't she the...
"Sorry I'm late ma'am!" The boyish girl said.
"Late already? Miss Yoo?" The instructor scolded.
"I'm sorry ma'am, it won't happen again." Pleaded the girl.
"Now go to your seat." The short-haired girl bowed once more and walked to where we were sitting.
"Mind if I sit here?" The girl asked.
"I don't mind." I replied. She sat beside me.
"About yesterday, I'm sorry, I went a bit too far." She bowed.
"No, it's okay, really." I smiled
"I'm Yoo Jeongyeon, and you are?" She introduced her name.
"Tzuyu, Chou Tzuyu."
"Oh nice to meet you Tzuyu-ssi." She smiled
"Please drop the honorifics, I'm not used to it." I smiled back.
"Okay okay."
The instructor continued with her lesson, and all of us remained silent, focusing in front.
