Chapter 9: Verdict

"TZUYU! STAND UP! YOU CAN DO THIS. FIGHT AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST! PLEASE BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!" A hooded person, wearing a white robe covering her face shouted.

Tzuyu's POV

Wait... That voice, I recognize that voice. I slowly stood up, giving a thumbs up to the hooded person. The hooded girl suddenly disappeared. I took a deep breath, and exhaled, looking forward. I saw Somi's shock expression. I smirked and slowly stepped forward. I can still feel the pain from my back, and it hurts like shit. "I won't give up, now that I know she's here, cheering for me." I beamed a smile, still whimpering from the pain I'm experiencing.

"You can't even walk properly." Somi gazed at me, with her merciful eyes. "I don't want to kill you, it would be a waste." She smiled, for the purpose of insulting me. She walked to my front. We were at least two meters from each other.

I calmed myself down, thinking of each element I have. I closed my eyes, and opened it. Slowly, my body started to emit small sparks. I stepped forward, disappearing while leaving a trail. I saw that everyone was in a state of shock, even Somi herself. I reappeared behind Somi, kicking her from behind. I gazed at her body, she was on the floor. She slowly stood up and faced me, she was still speechless.

"H-How?" Was the only word that Somi could utter.

"It's time... isn't it?" I gave her a meaningful look, signalling her that it's her demise.

Third Person POV

"It's time... isn't it?" After uttering those words, her body was now emitting a yellow-ish aura. She quickly dashed forward, leaving a trail of light. She was too fast that Somi couldn't keep up. Every time she dashed, she always produce a thundering sound, scaring a lot of people watching. The instructors and high ranked officials were shocked to see this phenomena as well, they have heard of combining two or more elements, but they did not expect to see lightning.

"Lighting Mimicry!" Suddenly, Tzuyu's body transformed to pure lightning energy. She started to bounce around the battlefield, confusing her enemy. She then, entered the light above the ceiling, and went to surprise Somi by attacking her from behind.

Somi was clueless where Tzuyu was, so she started to panic, which resulted with her casting a spell to protect herself. "Water Barrier!" She never let her guard down, as she continued to search for Tzuyu. She readied another spell but she was suddenly shocked. She totally forgot that water is a great conductor of electricity.

Tzuyu appeared behind Somi, quickly casting one of her new spells. "Lightning Barrage!" The entire battlefield was flickering, as if it there was a storm inside. Bolts of lightning were released from Tzuyu's fingers, hitting Somi directly. The latter was shocked, literally. She fell down, and tried to stand up once more. She succeeded and faced Tzuyu.

"Light binding!" Somi cast a faster spell, which utterly failed in catching Tzuyu. The girl was zipping across the room, still leaving thundering sounds. She then, went straight for Somi and punched her, sending the latter upward. She continued by dashing above, giving the other girl another punch. She was practically juggling Somi in mid-air.

Tzuyu kicked the girl upward, then she quickly dashed to the ground, preparing another spell. "A Thousand Birds!" She started charging lightning in both of her palms. She quickly dashed forward, the lightning she charged started to produce sounds that are similar to that of a thousand bird chirping. She used her left hand to directly hit Somi. She took the form of lightning once more and reappeared behind her enemy, this time she used her right hand to hit the girl's back.
