Chapter 13: Bloodstone

"Did I make you wait long?" Mina smirked while taking a few steps towards Chaeyoung who was in a complete shock.

She giggled at the sight in front of her. She continued to step forward and stopped once she was a few feet from Chaeyoung. She closed her eyes and smiled. She couldn't stop herself from adoring the other girl's cute face. She shook her head and gazed forward, snapping her finger. The other girl broke free from her trance and stared at Mina.

"What's wrong? You alright?" Mina giggled once more.

On the other side, Chaeyoung was mesmerized to see Mina. Yes she was shocked to see the other girl fully healed, but she couldn't stop herself from admiring Mina's beauty. She didn't realize that she was really beautiful. Right when she broke free from her crystal cocoon, up to the point where she walked in front of her, she loved every part of it. She did not want to admit it, but she's starting to question her sexuality.

"You're beautiful." Chaeyoung blurted out. Her eyes grew wide and she quickly covered her mouth, but her ears were revealing a taint shade of pink.

'Wait, what the fuck Son Chaeyoung?! What the hell did I just say?! Idiot she's your enemy. Now get yourself together and kill this goddess in front of you. Shit, I'm losing my mind. ARGHH.' At that very moment, Chaeyoung was having an argument with herself, she couldn't stop herself from blushing hard. She was extremely embarrassed from what she have just said. She slapped herself twice and shook her head, facing Mina once more. Finally, she was able to get herself together.

Mina chuckled at the other girl's action. "Aww you're so cute." She couldn't contain herself anymore, she really wanted to hug the girl, but she couldn't. She wasn't allowed to, since the Chaos' overseer does not know the truth between two Singularities.

"S-Shut up and fight me!" Chaeyoung barked, while pouting.

"Let me pinch you right now! You're so cuuute!" Mina exclaimed, but she meant something different about 'pinching' her.

Suddenly, two crystalline figure grew from the ground. Two giant crabs, literally giant crabs. They faced Chaeyoung and quickly ran after her. The crabs lunged their pincers forward, catching the latter in between. She was being squished, hard.

"ARGH! LET ME GO!" The other girl screamed. She couldn't think of a way to escape. But then, a thought came up to her mind. "FLASH!"

With that, a blinding light emitted from her body, rendering the crabs and Mina, temporarily lose their vision. She used her telekinesis and carried the debris from the huge hand that the other girl used against her, and smacked it to the two crabs. She broke free and took a deep breath, her chest part was wounded, she groaned in disappointment. "I don't even have a chest for fuck sake." She saw her teammates struggling with their enemies. She sighed in disbelief, forcing herself to use that again.

"Come on guys! You can do better than that!" She screamed to her teammates.

"I know! But there are so many of them!" Sungjae retorted.

"Lucky for you you're only fighting one!" Irene joined in.

"Ugh fine whatever, You better win because of this." She took a deep breath, and sighed heavily.

Holy wind started to surround her once more. She continued to charge the wind in between her two palms. Finally, she finished and released the wind. "Wind God's Blessing!" She exclaimed, releasing a huge gust of holy wind around her. It had a very large area of effect, so surely it will reach each and every Ordian in the battlefield. She knew once she used that ability, her stamina will reduce greatly. It was a sacrificial ability, to give power to others, in exchange of her endurance. She saw her friends starting to get the upper hand, which made her lips curl up.

"Thanks Chaeng!" Irene exclaimed.

"No proble-" Before she could finish her words, she was sent flying.

Mina finally regained her vision. She saw her two crabs destroyed. She cursed under her breath summoned a large crystalline penguin instead. She commanded the penguin to charge towards Chaeyoung who was busy talking to her teammates. Soon the latter was sent back. She quickly engulfed the penguin in flames, while commanding it to slam Chaeyoung.

The latter couldn't do anything. After landing from that painful headbutt, she was continuously slammed by the flaming penguin. She used telekinesis to stop the penguin from slamming her. She clenched her fist and the penguin was pulverized. She started coughing blood, which was not a good sign, she was close to her limit, she have used to much of her stamina hungry abilities. But she had to fight, for the great or good. She faced Mina once more, she lifted the other girl up with her left hand. She started charging holy wind in her right hand, forming a large spear. Looking directly to the immobile girl she was carrying, she smirked. With a quick motion of her right hand, the spear was released, hitting the other girl directly.

"ARGGHGH!" Mina screamed, she couldn't understand the pain she was feeling. She was starting to feel sleepy once more, but she tried her best to fight the feeling.

The said girl fell down on her knees, she was badly bruised. She was about to pass out when she remembered something about the hidden prophecy. If she loses to her right now, she may never get the chance to mark her. She slowly stood up and faced the other girl. Chaeyoung was extremely shocked to see her stood up once more. Mina smiled and was able to cast a spell to freeze everything around Chaeyoung, rendering the ground slippery. Slowly, the ice climbed up until it fully froze the latter's legs.

"I'm sorry, but this is for your own good... for our own good." Mina stated, smiling bitterly towards Chaeyoung.

"Dark Retribution!" A burst of dark energy sent Chaeyoung back. Mina quickly grew a huge crystalline wall behind Chaeyoung. It had uneven bumps on its surface. The short girl hit the wall, her head bumped to a uneven surface, which made her head bleed. Mina continued to release dark energy, flattening Chaeng. The wave of dark energy stopped.

"I-I was too weak." The shorter girl fell down to the ground, knee first, then her entire upper body. She was unconscious.

"I'm sorry Chaeng. But it's for the best." Mina went to Chaeyoung's location, she slowly knelt down and kissed Chaeyoung's forehead.

She smiled inwardly and surrounded Chaeyoung in crystals. Yes, this is a weaker version of her Crystal Cocoon, but it was better than leaving the other girl to die. She was too important to her after all.

"She's beautiful." She mumbled.

Seeing  Chaeyoung's blood mix with her crystal, she realized that some of her crystals were able to absorb the other girl's blood. She summoned a small crystal in her hand. Her smile grew bigger when she saw the crystal in her hand. 

"Bloodstone. You're going to be my strongest crystal." She proclaimed, knowing that the blood was from Chaeyoung's.

Mina walked away, looking back at the still unconscious girl. 'Hopefully, you'll wake up fully healed.' She thought to herself.

"I've finally marked you." She smiled proudly, walking back to Chaos' domain. She whimpered since she was still bruised badly. Remembering what she did a while ago, she smiled, she already knew what will happen next after marking her.
