The freezing air greeted my exposed skin as I fluttered my eyes open. The room was filled with the colors of neon pink and orange. Beams of light blinded my innocent eyes. Instinct kicked in I quickly covered my orbs. After readjusting with the sudden change of light, I opened my eyes only to see Sana sleeping soundly beside me. I smiled inwardly. Waking up beside a gorgeous girl like her always made my day complete.
The girl started moving, signalling that she was about to wake up. I fixed my morning face and plastered a smile. Sana's eyes slowly opened, whilst her whole body shivered. I quickly wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer to my body. My heat radiating towards her freezing body. She stopped shivering and moved her gaze to face me.
"Good morning Jagi." She sloppily said whilst rubbing her still-sleepy eyes.
I leaned forward, giving a small peck on her nose. "Good morning sleepy head." I giggled lightly when I saw a small pout formed on her plump lips.
"It's not my fault it's cold outside." She rolled her eyes. "I love sleeping during winters."
"Cold is an understatement." I retorted. "It's freezing outside."
"Whatever you say." She replied.
I smiled widely. It has been five years after that bloody war. Everything changed after that. The prophecy was true after all. The war between Order and Chaos had finally finished. Finally, concord was achieved.
Sana was chosen as the next overseer for Chaos, and I was chosen for Order. Whilst Sana and I were chosen as overseers, Jihyo was chosen as the sovereign for both caucuses. She's practically the president, something like that. Cause honestly, we believed that a child from the sky deserved the position. During her rule, a new city was made between the two caucus, named Pyeonghwa. People from both caucus stayed at the city, even normies visited the place.
Pristine was the right word to describe Pyeonghwa. Ordians and Chaeons interacted with one another. No violence took place, in fact, they even learned how to love one another. Everyone accepted each other for who they were, even if they were from different groups. During those times, Sana and I started to live together.
My train of thoughts was stopped when Sana nudged me.
"Hey Jagiiiiii." She said, while dragging the last vowels. "Let's go now, I'm hungry." She whined.
"Alright, alright." I replied, whilst carrying the squirrel bridal style. "Let's go eat something, then we'll go to the park. How's that sound?"
"Mhm." She nodded her head in agreement.
Going downstairs, I moved my feet towards the kitchen. I placed the girl I was carrying at the counter. I kissed her cheek before preparing our breakfast. I moved my gaze to face her.
"So what do you want?" I asked, whilst fiddling with the utensils.
"You." She replied. "I want to eat you."
"Pfft. You learned a lot from me." I snickered. "But seriously though, what do you want to eat?"
She shifted her gaze to face me. "The usual." Replied by the humming girl.
I nodded my head and started to prepare. I heated the pan and started preparing the mixture. I mixed the ingredients inside the bowl and poured the mixture at the heated pan. You've probably guessed it by now, yes I'm making pancakes.
The temperature was freezing cold, and heaters were practically non-existent here. Luckily I had Sana beside me. She's practically a living fireplace. Although I question why she gets cold since she can practically control both ice and fire. I pushed the thought away when I noticed her glaring at me. I forgot that our minds were linked.
