Chapter 27: Contrastive

"So what happened between the two of you?" Tzuyu asked, sitting comfortably at the couch.

Chaeyoung and Mina had returned from upstairs. Finally, they were able to settle things with each other.  The penguin-like girl kept her gaze down, trying her best to avoid Tzuyu's stare. Sana suddenly barged in, bringing in a plate filled with sandwiches. She placed the food at the table, gesturing the two girls who just came back to take a seat, and eat as well.

Mina sat down at a separate couch, trying her best to avoid any contact with the others. Unfortunately for her, Chaeyoung took the sit beside her. The other girl was smiling widely, sneakily moving her right hand to hold Mina's. The penguin-like girl was flustered by the bold move made by the tiger cub. She tried to pry the other girl's hand away, but she failed. She started to like the warmth from Chaeyoung's hand.

They started eating the sandwiches prepared by Sana. It was delectable. Everyone was munching their food happily, except for one girl. Mina. She was afraid that they will get caught by the two girls in front of them.

As if on cue, Tzuyu was raising her suspicion between the two. She noticed the sudden change in atmosphere. A few minutes ago, they were fighting. Now, they were sitting comfortably beside each other. She even noticed Mina's facial expression, which was revealing everything.

"Ehem. As I was saying, what happened between the two of you?" Tzuyu asked once more, giving the two girl a suspicious look.

"We uhm.." Chaeyoung trailed off.

"We talked about... stuff." Mina finished Chaeyoung's sentence.

Tzuyu smirked, she sensed something fishy between the two. 'I swear they're hiding something or my name is Brad Pitt, and it's not.' She raised her right eyebrow. Leaning to her side, she whispered something to Sana.

"I swear they're hiding something." She whispered.

"I know, I can tell." Sana nodded. An idea popped up in her head.

"I'll be going to the comfort room, be right back."

Sana then, stood up and went back to the kitchen. She quickly entered invisibility and sneakily went to Mina and Chaeyoung's side. There, she saw the two girl had their hands held. Like the good girl she was, she leaned forward and she snaked her hands to the two girl's shoulders.

"I knew something was fishy between the two of you." She scoffed.

"Care to share?" Tzuyu joined in.

"Uhm.. Fine." Mina sighed.

There, she started to explain everything about the two of them. It was time for story telling. She started from the very beginning, until today.

"Okay. So.." Mina took a deep breath. "Chaeyoung and I made our first encounter at the war."

The two girls in front of her were listening intently, while Chaeyoung was beside her, smiling like a fool.

"Like the two of you, we fought." She continued. "And yeah, I won by a landslide." Mina smirked.

"Yah! No you did not! You caught me off guard!" Chaeyoung barked, sending light punches at Mina's arm.

"Right right." Mina giggled. "As I was saying..."

Mina continued to explain everything. How she marked Chaeyoung, and how things changed after that. She even told them about her crystal's new form. She showed them the bloodstone, which shocked the two girls. Well except for Chaeyoung, since she already knew about it. She kept telling them everything. Until the recent happening, which was today.
