Chapter 29: Revelation

Everything was a mess. Houses were on fire. A lot of people were fighting to death. They certainly did not expect for the Chaos' sudden attack. Even Mina, did not expect the attack. They had an agreement that it'll be held on the third Wednesday. But it seemed like someone knew of Sana's betrayal. Surely, they will be hunted, for they betrayed their own caucus.

Mina was trembling in fear. They were still at the house. Jeongyeon and Jihyo went their quickly, after learning about the sudden attack. They were lucky they came on time. She almost got caught by the chaeons. Chaeyoung was beside her, trying her best to comfort the girl engulfed by fear. Slowly, Mina started to calm down. That's when she quickly called Sana and the others telepathically.

"Hey! The coast is clear! We need to help the others! Or else our so called 'home' will turn to ashes." Jeongyeon shouted from downstairs.

"You hear that? Let's go Mina." Chaeyoung offered her hand. "Don't worry, we'll fight them together." She smiled.

"O-Okay." She hesitated at first, but she trusted Chaeyoung's words. "We'll do this together."

They went downstairs and was greeted by Jeongyeon's unholy words. She was blasting a lot of enemies at the same time. It was amazing to watch, but at the same time, Jeongyeon's curses were disturbing. She looked back and saw the two girls from upstairs.

"Oh? You're here, great. Now let's kick some chaeon booty."

"Hey! That's my line." Chaeyoung snorted.

"Yeah right, let's get going."

The two girls nodded in agreement. They sneakily walked the streets, hoping not to gain any attention. Jeongyeon motioned Jihyo to use her ability. Jihyo nodded, moving her right hand to her eyes which started to glow blue. She gasped, making the other girls look at her questionably.

"What?" Jeongyeon asked. "What did you see?"

"How could they... They are merciless!" Jihyo shouted. "They killed.. They killed our friends!"

"WHAT?!" Chaeyoung shouted in anger. "LET'S STOP HIDING AND GO RAMBO!"

"And what? Get ourselves killed too?" Jeongyeon snorted. "It's best if we think of a plan, and then attack."

"I agree." Mina replied silently.

"Then let's go." Jeongyeon suggested.

They started sneaking once more. They tried their best to avoid feeling emotional because of their friends. They never thought that it would turn out to be a bloody battle. Sneakily, they hid behind a bush. They arranged their plans for their attack. Finishing their plan, they went to initiate the attack, until a familiar figure stopped them.

"Nayeon?!" Jeongyeon whisper-shouted in disbelief.

"Hello, Jeongyeon." The girl replied with no emotions.

Meanwhile, The group of Tzuyu were intercepted at the gate. They quickly fend off the enemies and held on to Sana. All of them were invisible. Soon, they reached their house. But to their dismay, no one was there. They split up and searched the area if the others were still there, but no, they weren't. Suddenly, a group of chaeons ambushed them inside.

"It's a trap!" Tzuyu gasped.

"No shit Sherlock." Momo retorted.

"I'll take one those guys, you guys take care of the rest." Sana suggested. She started to dash towards her fellow chaeons.

The others nodded in agreement. They started fighting off the enemies. Sana was hesitant to fight her "friends" but seeing how they treated her, she chose not to hold back. One by one, her enemies started to fall down. Seems like they were all bark, no bite. She saw Tzuyu struggling. She was against five enemies. She quickly went to Tzuyu's side and lent her helping hand.

"Need help love?"

"Mhm." Tzuyu nodded in agreement.

While on the other side of the house, Dahyun had the most enemies. But that was not a problem for her. With a snap of her finger, she outnumbered her enemies. She never took the battle seriously. She went to sit in a corner and watched as her clones finish of her enemies.

"Ahh, this is the life." She chuckled.

Momo on the other hand, was mocking her enemies. She kept insulting them, to the point where all of them wanted to chase her down. That was her chance, she ran slowly, which was already fast for her opponents. She was extremely complacent with herself. Until, she tripped. She fell face first.

"O-Ouch." She groaned, cleaning off her face.

"Who's laughing now?" A dark figure appeared from behind her. The man quickly bind her with dark magic.

"Shit." Momo cursed under her breath.

"You're going to be of good use." The man laughed hysterically, while carrying Momo.

Everyone was already done fighting their enemies. Except for one, they all thought Momo was still in a middle of a battle. Dahyun was getting worried, she commanded her clones to search every nook and cranny of the house. To her dismay, she was nowhere to be found.

"No..."

"No.. No.."

"No no no no no no no!!!" Dahyun fell to her knees, tears were threatening to fall down from her eyes.

"Why? Where's Momo?" Sana asked worriedly.

"She's.. She's missing!" Dahyun replied, bawling her eyes out.

Tzuyu quickly went to Dahyun's side, comforting the latter. She faced the other girl and wiped her tears which kept falling. She hugged the girl lightly and whispered something lightly.

"Calm down, she's going to be fine." Tzuyu whispered.

"HOW CAN SHE BE FINE WHEN SHE'S FUCKING MISSING?!" Dahyun shouted in anger. "WE'RE TALKING ABOUT CHAOS HERE! THEY ARE MERCILESS FUCKERS!" She continued, cursing nonstop.

"Watch your word girl. Calm down and think deep." Sana said calmly.

"You two are connected, if you focus, you'll be able to find out where she is right now." Sana added.

"Y-Yeah you're right." Dahyun replied, sniffling.

Dahyun took few deep breaths. Soon she stopped crying. Her heart rate started to go down. She started focusing. They were linked after all. She think deeper and deeper. She was starting to lose hope in finding Momo's whereabouts.

"Momo.. Please." She mumbled. "When half of me is gone, how can I live as one?"

She continued to think deeper until she reached a point where memories of someone else were flowing through her mind. That was when she realized she was connected to Momo. She kept her focus and finally, she knew where she was.

"No, someone took her away. She needs our help!"

"Where is she?" Sana asked.

"Institute of Order." Dahyun replied. "At the battle grounds."

"Then let's get going!" Tzuyu said enthusiastically.

"Mhm. Let's go." Dahyung nodded.

"Momo... Just you wait. I'm coming for you."
