I was walking back home. Sana already left, she was in a hurry. I think she needed to do something important. Something more important than me, wait what. What's gotten in to your brain Tzuyu. Maybe I'm just tired, yeah that's right. I arrived at home, it was past seven, and I'm pretty sure I'll get another scolding from Jihyo unnie. Aaaaand, I was right.
"FOR GOD SAKE TZUYU! HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU, DON'T LEAVE WITHOUT TELLING US. I WAS WORRIED SICK BECAUSE OF YOU" Jihyo unnie screamed, glaring at me. She walked to my side, I can tell she's asking for an explanation.
"You always say that, pfft. I went to practice unnie." I replied, with a smug grin on my face.
"Didn't you listen? The instructor told all of you to rest, what if you got hurt? And get that smug grin off of your face, you're making yourself even uglier." She nagged, while dissing me in the process.
"But unnie, I want to get ready for tomorrow, so I trained." I replied, removing the grin on my face. "And for your info, I'm gorgeous." I snickered, passing by her. I went to the kitchen to grab a snack, and went upstairs. Leaving Jihyo unnie in the living room.
I knocked at the door (A.N. HUEHUEHUE.), since Chaeyoung locked it. "HEY CHAEYOUNG OPEN UP!" God that cub, I told her not to lock the door if we weren't going to sleep. The door flew open, revealing a sleepy Chaeyoung.
"O-Oh, Tzuyu hey, sorry I fell asleep so I subconsciously closed the door." She rubbed her eyes, signalling that she just woke up. "But please, don't shout, you ruined my sleep." She sent me flying, again.
"Stop making me float, ugh." I growled in annoyance. "Okay I'm sorry, now put me down."
"Good, now where did you go, again?"
"I went to train." I replied honestly.
"With who was that? Salad? Sanake?" She guessed, trying to remember Sana's name.
"Pfft, what? Salad? Idiot, she's Sana."
Before she could reply, I went to the bathroom to get myself washed. I can already smell myself, and it's unpleasant. I finished quickly and changed to my clothes before going outside. I checked on the mirror and saw that I got no more bruises. Great, I'll get tons of bruises tomorrow. I sighed and went to my bed. I closed my eyes and ignored Chaeyoung for the rest of the night.
--------------------------------------------------
We were walking by the halls of the Institute. People were looking at us, but this time, they did not badmouth Dahyun. Well of course, they're scared. Right now, I was with Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, and two, yes two Dahyuns. She loves to talk with her clones, especially when we're in the Institute. They love rubbing it in my face, that they are Singularities. Yes even Jeongyeon, she has no food whenever I close my eyes, but when I open my eyes, I always see her with food in her hands. Sucks to be normal right?
We gathered at the training grounds, different instructors arrived, along with the higher rank officials that were tasked to evaluate us. I saw Jihyo unnie, she was smiling at me, signalling me good luck. I smiled back and gave a thumbs up.
One of the instructor started to speak, the whole room became silent. He started to explain the rules of the match. He also added that even if win or lose, we'll still get chosen, if, and only if we have potential. After a few minutes, the evaluation began.
The first match was Taehyung against a guy that looked like his friend, uhm, Jungkook was it? I can't quite remember, but he's handsome. Wait, What? Hold your hormones Tzuyu, you have to focus for your match later. The fight lasted longer that I expected, but Taehyung was the victor. Few matches passed, and It was my turn.
"Good Luck Tzuyu!" Jeongyeon patted my head.
"Break a leg yoda!" Chaeyoung chirped, hugging me.
"You got this sis." Two Dahyuns said in unison.
I smiled, nodding. "Thanks guys, I can do this, hwaiting!" But honestly, I felt like I was expecting for someone else to bid me good luck or watch. But I don't know who. I shrugged it off and walked to the middle, meeting my enemy. Her name was Somi, she looked strong, scratch that, she's really strong. We bowed down to each other. She bid me good luck, and I did the same. The instructor began to count, and with that, our match started.
Third Person POV
Somi quickly dashed forward, reappearing behind Tzuyu. 'Wow she's really fast.' Tzuyu thought to herself. She did a front flip, avoiding Somi's punch. But little did she know, Somi was already in front of her. She was sent flying by Somi's kick.
Somi quickly cast one of her spells. "Wind blast!" Suddenly, a gust of wind made Tzuyu flew higher. She quickly followed up with another spell. "Tangling Thorns!" With that, vines with thorns grew from the ground, preparing to catch Tzuyu.
Tzuyu couldn't react quickly, Somi was too fast. She fell down to the thorns, but luckily, she was able to protect herself with a barrier of wind. Although, she still got wounded by some of the thorns. "Curses, she's so fast." She made a counterattack by summoning two water golems which held Somi, catching her off-guard. "The Box!" She placed both of her palms, and quickly released it downwards, making large wall of vines grew from the ground, caging Somi inside.
Gasps were heard from the audience, not because of Tzuyu's sudden counterattack, but because the spell she used was one of Chaos' specialty. She ignored the audience's reaction and prepared her next spell. Slowly, the box grew smaller, giving Somi little to no room.
She aimed her palm to the box, casting another spell. "Light Cannon!" A beam of light burst from her palm, hitting the box directly. 'She had no space to dodge, I'm sure of it.' She thought to herself, smirking. She let her guard down and went to check the debris. To her surprise, someone hit her from behind, it was Somi.
"B-But, how!" She knelt down, her back was bleeding. She took a direct shot. Somi smirked and explained how she escaped. "You think I'm that dumb? Of course I was able to cut through your thick vines, I got to admit it was harder than I expected." She chuckled, and continued. "And you were so focused on charging your spell that you didn't notice my presence behind you." With that, Somi once again, lunged forward, ready to send a punch to Tzuyu.
Tzuyu whimpered, trying her best to dodge, but she failed. She was sent back, and the pain she felt was unbearable. She wanted to give up, she knew she had already lost. She tried to stand up once more, but failed, falling on one knee. "Darn it" She mumbled.
Somi smirked, walking forward. Finally she kicked Tzuyu, and she was sent flying back. "Looks like I won." She smirked, walking back. But to her surprise, Tzuyu stood up once more. "Give it up, you already lost." She then, cast one of her weakest spells, "Water blast!" It directly hit Tzuyu, who fell to her back once more. This time, Tzuyu didn't stand up. Somi smiled, while walking back, victorious. The instructor was about to end the match when one person screamed.
"TZUYU! STAND UP! YOU CAN DO THIS. FIGHT AS IF IT'S YOUR LAST! PLEASE BELIEVE IN YOURSELF!"
