Chapter 11: Discord

Third Person POV

"It looks like we meet again, Jeongyeon." The girl spoke. She was wearing a black robe, with white details, the same as before. Jeongyeon did not reply, she was still shocked to see the girl.

Jeongyeon continued to scrutinize the girl for she never changed, in appearance that is. Suddenly, the girl spoke once more. "Why won't you speak? My Jeongyeon? Cat caught your tongue?" The girl chuckled and moved forward, getting closer to where Jeongyeon was.

"M-My J-Jeongyeon?" Finally, Jeongyeon broke free from the trance. She then, faced the girl. "I'm nobody's Jeongyeon!" She exclaimed, while entering her fighting stance.

The other girl chuckled once more. "You're my Jeongyeon! I know you don't understand, but you will soon, my Jeeeooongyeeeon." The girl claimed once more, while doing aegyo. Jeongyeon cringed at the sight and sighed. "And I thought she was more mature than this." She mumbled.

"But for now, finishing my mission is top priority. So I'm sorry Jeongyeonnie~ This won't hurt, much." The girl's facial expression suddenly changed. She was now looking at Jeongyeon differently. Her face was unreadable, it was a mixture of happiness, sadness, and anger.

"Oh by the way, I'm Im Nayeon, make sure to remember that love, okay?" With that, she cast one of her spells. "Dragon's Flame!" A burst of fire was released from Nayeon's mouth. It was the same spell she used earlier.

Jeongyeon quickly defended themselves with a barrier of light. "You guys take care of the chaeons, I'll take care of her myself." Her teammates nodded and went separate ways. "I don't know how you got my name, and why you keep considering me yours, I don't care. If I have to kill you just to obtain peace, then I'll do it." She glared at Nayeon, preparing to do an attack as well. She dashed forward, with her fist clenched. "Why? Why did you save me back then?!" She threw a couple of punches to Nayeon, who dodged and counterattacked as well. She jumped back, casting a spell. "Hydroburst!" Bursts of water came out of the ground, like they were geysers. Then, they all curved and went straight to Nayeon.

Nayeon just smirked. "That's cute, but not as cute as you." She jumped up and touched the water, which suddenly became frozen ice. She then landed on the ice, ice skiing towards Jeongyeon's location. "Self-Destruction!" She was starting to light up, while charging fire inside her body. She reached Jeongyeon's location and was about to explode.

"Shit." Jeongeon exclaimed. She quickly stopped time and ran to a safer distance, then she used a light barrier to protect herself from the explosion. She continued time, and to her surprise, she was in front of Nayeon once more. The girl, then exploded. Luckily, Jeongyeon's barrier was still there to protect her, but she got bruised because of the explosion. She searched for Nayeon's body and it was gone.

"Is she dead? Did she really suicide for nothing?" She asked herself. Just then, she heard a tick of a clock, and bits of Nayeon's body started to reform once more. She was shocked to see the still-alive girl.

"You think I'd die that easily? You're not the only one who can control time hun." Nayeon smirked evilly, she then dashed to Jeongyeon, giving her a barrage of flaming punches. The other girl tried her best to block and dodge. She saw an opening and did a counterattack. "Light binding!" Suddenly, Nayeon was unable to move, her legs were bound by light. She stopped time, knowing that Nayeon will revert time just to undo her mistake. "Light Cannon!" She cast one of her spell in front of her, continuing time as well.

"AAAGGH!" Nayeon squirmed in pain, she took a direct hit. "Damn it... Oh well. Re-do~" She reverted back to her original position, before she took the hit. Her bruises were gone. "You'll never win, love~ Give up now and I'll spare you." She smirked, putting both of her palms together then pushing it to the ground, suddenly a huge box appeared, trapping Jeongyeon in complete darkness. It was The Box, but she used Darkness, more specifically, Dark Matter. Jeongyeon couldn't move inside, the gravitational force of the box was way too strong that she was forced to kneel down.

"I-I can't move!" Jeongyeon exclaimed. Everything was pitch black, she couldn't see anything and she can't move as well. She tried to stop time, and luckily, even the gravity emitted by the box stopped. She took a deep breath and think of a way to escape. A thought came to her mind. She unpaused time and shouted something to Nayeon. "Okay, I give up! I'll join you..."

A smile crept on Nayeon's face. "Really? GREAT!" Nayeon went down and removed the box, but she knew Jeongyeon will try something stupid. She already had a ball of dark matter in her hand, which will stop Jeonyeon from moving or trying to escape. But to her surprise, she was already gone.

"W-What?!" She shouted, "H-How?!" Suddenly, a person kicked her from behind, making the ball disappear. She fell down and looked up, it was Jeongyeon. A smirk crept on her face. "You think I'll fall for your trap, Nayeon?" Vines started to lock up Nayeon in her position, rendering her immobile. Jeongyeon noticed that she has to do a cross with her fingers, copying the hands of a clock, in order to revert time. "What's wrong? Vines caught your hands?"

Nayeon froze, Jeongyeon finally realized her weakness. "H-How." She mentally facepalmed, she was really obvious. But she regained her composure, her body started to ablaze which burnt the vines holding her.

"So you found out, pity, I won't go easy on you this time." Her body continued to blaze.

"Then come at me." Jeongyeon smirked.

The flames that engulfed Nayeon started to change in color, it was turning black. Soon, she was already covered in Dark Flames.

"Now I'm all fired up."

Meanwhile, at the tree where Tzuyu's team was staying. Tzuyu was still watching intently at the fight happening below. After seeing Nayeon burn with Dark Flames, she quickly realized that it was a fusion of two elements. They were focused on watching the others fight as well. Chaeyoung encountered a penguin-like girl, while Dahyun encountered a girl who looked like a peach. They couldn't provide backup because they were forced to stay there until one of the groups call for help.

"Argh I can't just sit here and watch, I want to help them!" Taehyung whined.

"But we have to follow orders, remember that Taehyung." Tzuyu explained to him while patting his head, surprisingly, he stopped whining. 'He's really cute.' She thought to herself, while secretly smiling.

"I never thought you liked Taehyung, Chewy." A voice startled all of them, suddenly, the tree they were sitting at started to fall down. They heard someone scream 'timber' from below.

"W-Who in the world did that?!" Taehyung screamed, luckily, all of them landed safely.

"I only know one person who would do such a thing." Tzuyu replied.

"Who?" Jihyo eyed on Tzuyu, waiting for her answer.

"And she's here. Hello, Sana." She threw a water ball near the tree that got cut down. The water ball disappeared and a figure reappeared.

"It's been a while Chewy-ah." The girl smiled, giving a small bow. Her expression quickly changed to an evil smirk. "I won't go easy on you this time." She commanded her people to attack.

"Shit, at this rate we won't be able to provide backup to the enemy team." Taehyung cursed, stating the obvious.

"I know, you guys take care of the rest, I'll face Sana. I can sense her presence, so I have the upper hand." Tzuyu suggested, getting ready to face Sana.

"Okay, be careful okay?" Jihyo patted Tzuyu's head.

"Don't worry too much." Tzuyu then took a step forward and faced Sana. "Finally, I can kill you with my own two hands, Minatozaki."

"That is, if you can kill me. I won't show mercy." Sana was still standing still, while Tzuyu already entered her fighting stance.

"This time... I'll be the victor, and your life will be mine to kill." Tzuyu smiled evilly.
