Chapter 33: Synthesis

??? POV

"What?!" I screamed.

I looked through the window, and saw myself. I started freaking out and quickly ran to my room, trying my best to not gain any attention. Reaching my room, I quickly entered and locked the door. I took a deep breath and walked towards the mirror. I can't believe it, what the hell is this?

"What the... Who the hell am I?" I said in disbelief.

I cupped my own face. I can't believe this, who am I? I stared at my reflection in disbelief. What the actual fuck? Soon, my reflection moved on its own, smiling at me. She mouthed something which I was able to read.

"I told you I'm you?" Moving my hands down, I mumbled lightly.

"Wait, what do you mean?!"

"She's right."  A voice replied inside my head.

"Wha- Sachin?"

"Yeah, It's me Jagi~"

"Where are you? I'm getting scared. What's going on?" I mumbled.

"Silly, I'm here. Right beside you." She replied, giggling.

I moved around, looking for her. But to my dismay, she wasn't there. Bewilderment was plastered on my face. What does she mean?

"What do I mean? Silly, I told you I'm right here." She chuckled.

Soon my right hand was moving on its own. It moved up and cupped my right cheek. I tried to regain control but it failed.

"I know it felt weird at first, but I got used to it already."

"What the hell?!" I said in confusion. Seriously, what's going on?

"Why are you so slow, isn't it obvious already? We've fu-"

Before she could finish her words, I started to shine brightly again.

Tzuyu's POV

I covered my eyes using my hands, trying my best to protect my precious eyes. I slowly lifted my hands, trying to adjust to the light. Opening my eyes, I saw Sana standing in front of me. She was smiling brightly. I gave her a baffled face, and she just rolled her eyes. I stood still for god knows how long. I was dumbfounded. What happened?

"Hey, Jagiya~ Snap out of it!" Sana waved her hands in front of me.

"Huh?" I blinked my eyes, and finally I was back to my senses. "What happened?"

"Oh I don't know, try figuring it out yourself." She replied in annoyance.

"Eyy, Sachin, are you mad?"

"No, I'm not." She replied coldly.

"Saaaachiiin." I pleaded, doing my best aegyo.

"Ugh, that's disgusting." Sana rolled her eyes. "That was the best thing that happened to me, and yet you didn't even know what happened?!" Sana added, with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

"Saaaachiiiiin. I'm sorry, I really don't know what happened."

"Fine whatever. I was able to find a memory of you seeing that face on the mirror. I thought it was our future daughter or something, but I guess it was not." Sana explained, sighing in disbelief.
