The sun was setting soon. People started gathering inside the Institute. Reconstruction was still on-going, luckily, it won't take that long thanks to our special abilities. The overseer of Order stepped out from his office. He called for our attention, and everyone went silent. I moved my gaze to face the man. Strangely, I felt something weird with him. He was awfully familiar. I shook the feeling and continued to listen intently.
"Okay so listen up!" The overseer announced. "Since our goal for the mission is to save Dahyun, and Momo, was it? We'll be sending the singularities to retrieve them."
I quickly nudged Tzuyu beside me. I had doubts with this man. I mean, it's our chance to attack. But, he chose to retrieve the two girls only? We could've impaired the enemy. Tzuyu moved her gaze and faced me.
"What is it Sachin?" She asked.
"I don't trust this guy." I replied honestly.
She just chuckled and faced me. "Oh? Don't worry to much. He's our overseer, so we should trust him."
"Whatever, I still don't trust that guy." I shrugged my shoulders.
The man continued to explain our plan. As much as I want to protest, I couldn't. If I did, I'd have no place to go to. What's more embarrassing than getting exiled twice?
"Do you get the plan?" The man moved his gaze to face us.
All of us nodded in agreement. "Good, now get ready. The sun has set."
Third Person POV
The Singularities gathered near the border of Order. After each and every one of them arrived. They started planning. Sana couldn't take it anymore, so she blurted out the strange feeling she had with the overseer.
"Guys, I'll be honest. I don't trust that guy." Sana blurted out.
"What, who?" Chaeyoung asked.
"Don't tell me it's the overseer again Sachin?" Tzuyu asked in disbelief.
"It is."
"Actually, I agree with Sana." Mina butted in all of a sudden.
"What? Not you too?" Chaeyoung was baffled with Mina's sudden confession.
"I have a bad feeling about him." Mina shrugged.
"Okay shush, we don't have a choice. Our friend's safety is top priority here." Jihyo stated with her loud voice. "Let's get going before everything's too late."
Everyone nodded. They began their journey to reach Chaos. The walked in a steady pace, until they reached the outskirts of their destination. They hid at a bush and watched as Dahyun's father was about to leave. But to their dismay, another figure was behind him.
"I TOLD YOU! WE SHOULDN'T TRUST THAT MAN!" Sana whisper-shouted.
"I can't believe this." Tzuyu replied in disbelief. "It's a trap!"
"So all this time... Our overseer was working with the enemy?" Jeongyeon asked with dubiety. "The war, so that war was all planned? How could he?!" She burst.
"Shh. They'll hear us. We'll get him later. For now, let's save our friends." Jihyo suggested.
"How? They're expecting us here." Sana retorted.
"We'll think of a new plan, Mina contact Nayeon." Jihyo replied.
So, they started thinking of a new plan. Luckily, they came to a point where everyone agreed. They grab hold of Sana. The girl quickly turned invisible, along with her friends. They entered sneakily. The ordians were awestruck with the sight they saw. Everything was a mess in Chaos.
"Welcome to our world." Sana mumbled.
"You really weren't lying." Tzuyu said honestly.
"Of course." Sana replied.
Mina was able to contact Nayeon through telepathy. They had a change of plans, so the latter agreed to set free Momo by herself whilst they face Dahyun. She said that the dubu girl was staying at the Institute. She was forced by her father to guard the place.
Walking through the sidewalk, a sudden thought appeared on Tzuyu's head. Her eyes widen and her blood boiled in anger. 'How could I be so blind?' She thought to herself. She remembered her dream, Sana's memory to be precise. Everything was coming to pieces. Dahyun's father was the reason behind their parents' deaths. The overseer was the one who killed her parents.
Sana noticed Tzuyu's tensed body, since the latter was gripping her hands tightly. She moved her gaze to meet Tzuyu's eyes boiling in anger. She leaned forward and gave a quick peck on the other girl's cheek.
"I know what you're thinking about. Calm down Jagiya~" Sana smiled bitterly. "I know it hurts, but we'll get them soon. But for now, let's save your sister, and my best friend."
Tzuyu nodded her head lightly whilst her hands loosen the grip.
They finally reached the Institute of Chaos. It was extremely huge, way bigger than Order's. Finding Dahyun was like a needle in a haystack. Luckily, there weren't any people inside. So Sana unveiled them all.
"We should still keep quiet." Jihyo reminded.
"Mhm. I think I know where she is. I know this place like the back of my hand." Sana replied.
Sana started guiding all of us. They were lucky no one was there to catch them, until the clumsy squirrel made a wrong move. She broke a glass vase. That attracted unwanted attention for them.
"Great job squirrel."
"Seize the intruders! And kill the renegades!" The guards commanded.
Jeongyeon quickly stopped time. She was trying her best to think of a good plan as to how she can get rid of them. Suddenly, she felt Nayeon's presence was close. Trying her best to see how close she was, she happened to be below the current floor. She smiled inwardly and continued time.
"I trust you." She mumbled.
Suddenly, everything started to revert back to where Sana was about to break the vase. She stopped time once again. She quickly removed the vase and continued time.
"Goodness, please be careful Sana." Jeongyeon scolded.
"Sorry." Sana chuckled awkwardly, while scratching her head.
"Thanks Nayeon." Jeongyeon mumbled, placing the vase back.
They continued to walk forth, until they stopped in front of a huge door. Sana gestured that they were here. Opening the door slowly, they were greeted by a thick mist.
"Shit." Tzuyu mumbled.
"Intruders?" Dahyun spoke all of a sudden.
"Dahyun, it's us! We've come to save you!"
"Save me? From what?" Dahyun started laughing hysterically.
The mist slowly disappeared, revealing a Dahyun covered in bruises. She's lost it. Her mind was practically going crazy now. Her father did different experiments on her, which led to her current state. The only thing that kept her sane was Momo's presence. Which was practically a few floors from her.
"Mo... Mo..." Dahyun mumbled.
