Chapter 21: Warmth

"What the hell are you doing Tzuyu?!" A boy shouted.

Aish that kid. He ruined the moment. Goodness, He doesn't know when to stop, does he?

"T-Taehyung?! I uhmm." Tzuyu cast her gaze down, not giving a single glance to me.

"Why are you here? With that... Chaeon?" Taehyung said, with the hint of disgust in his voice when he spoke the word 'chaeon.'

"S-She's my friend, Taehyung." Tzuyu said, fidgeting with her fingers.

Friend. Boom. That got me off guard. I suddenly felt a huge arrow pass through my heart, leaving a hole.

"Why are you friend with a mere rat?"

I shot him a death glare, treading towards his location. I gave him my scrutinizing look, and smirked.

"A mere rat? For one, I'm a squirrel." I held his right cheek and he stiffened with the contact. "Two, I'm a Singularity." I quickly slapped his face. "And three, I'm goddamn fabulous."

The boy was completely shocked with my slap. I smirked and forced him to face me.

"Get away from Tzuyu!" Taehyung shouted, in front of my face.

"Haven't you learned your lesson?" I sneered, inching my face closer to his.

"Why should I listen to you anyways?"

"I already warned you. I hate it when people enter my territory." I smiled devilishly. "Now, if that thick skull of yours doesn't want to listen, then I'll make it."

I quickly threw him upward, not to high though. I don't want to attract unwanted attention. I pointed my right index finger upward. I was still looking at Tzuyu, while smiling. With a quick blink of my eye, a dark orb shot out of my index finger, hitting Taehyung in the head.

"That oughta teach him a lesson." I sighed in annoyance. I quickly took his body and hid it somewhere.

"You should've not done that Sana. What if they find out?" Tzuyu asked, with an unreadable look on her face.

"They won't, trust me." I held her hand once more, and tried to pull her closer.

She pried my hands away and walked out. "Tch."

"Hey, hey Tzuyu! What's wrong?" I quickly followed her, but I suddenly realized that we were going back to the Institute. I went invisible and quietly followed her.

I had no clue where she was going. I decided to hold on to her right arm lightly, letting her know that I was still there. She was unfazed, not giving a single fuck about my existence. Funny, I was invisible so of course she wouldn't talk to me.

We continued to walk forward, until we reached a familiar house. Oh shit, it's their house. I'm so dead. I sighed quietly, and tried not to do anything stupid.

"I'm home unnie!" Tzuyu shouted cheerfully.

"Welcome back Tzuyu-ah. Oh and, welcome visitor." Jihyo greeted back, while giving me that cocky look.

"Come on, don't be shy now squirrel, show yourself." Jihyo added.

"Squirrel? Who?" A small girl suddenly barged in. Chaeyoung.

Tzuyu gave me a small push and I tripped, landing face first. Argh this giant, really. Unknowingly, I was no longer invisible. I heard a small gasp from the small girl. I quickly stood up and fixed myself.
