Chapter 32: Enigma

"Oh no..." Chaeyoung said in disbelief.

"What should we do now?" Jeongyeon said worriedly.

"It's best if we rest. We can't do much against them." Mina said. "Plus, they've practically trashed the entire Order." She added.

"True." Jihyo suddenly barged in.

"Unnie! How's Sana?" Chaeyoung asked with a hint of worry on her voice.

"She's doing fine, she needs rest though. She took a point blank hit from Exorcism." Jihyo said, reassuring the worried cub.

"Phew that's great." Chaeyoung sighed in relief. "Wait, EXORCISM?!" Her eyes grew wide. "Shouldn't s-she be dead by now?"

"I know the secrets of Exorcism, and no, she's not dead. Only those with impurity in their hearts die from it's formidable strength." Jihyo explained.

She took a few steps forward, approaching Tzuyu's location. She knelt down and faced the other girl. She smiled lightly and moved her hands forward, placing them near the other girl's chest. She chanted a few words before releasing holy water from her hands.

"That should do for now." She stood up, carrying the tall girl. "Let's get going, we'll have to clean our house, and probably, the entire Order."

"Mhm." They all nodded in agreement, except for one girl. Everyone was taking their leave. Jeongyeon carried Sana on her back. They were exiting one by one, until Chaeyoung noticed the other girl not moving one bit. She stopped on her tracks and faced the girl.

"Mina?" She called out.

"Yeah?" Mina replied silently.

"Aren't you coming?"

"To where?"

"My house." Chaeyoung replied.

"OUR house to be exact." Jihyo butted in.

"But..." Mina moved her gaze down. "I'm no Ordian, I'm a Chaeon. I've caused you all much trouble."

"It's nobody's fault Mina. Thing happen for a reason." Jihyo replied. "Come on, let's get going, you're part of our family now."

"Really?" Mina moved her gaze up, meeting the two girls' eyes.

"YES! Come on now Penguuu~" Chaeyoung chirped, running to the doubtful girl in front of her.

"Alright then, my little lion cub." Mina patted Chaeyoung's head.

With that, they started walking back to their home. They were expecting to clean a lot of things, from the house itself, up to the Institute. Meanwhile, Sana and Tzuyu are peacefully sleeping. They were lucky they weren't going to clean anything at all.

Tzuyu's POV

My eyes fluttered open. Shoot, where am I? I can't see a thing. Everything was pitch black. Suddenly, I saw something glimmering from a far. I tried running towards the source of light. I can't reach it, as if it was running away from me. Until at one point, it stopped moving. I took this opportunity and ran faster, until the faint light was in front of me. The light slowly dispersed. I saw the thing, or the one who emitted the light.

"Sana?" I called out.

She didn't reply, instead she just smiled at me.

"Sana!" I called out once more.
