They drove through the city, full of urban skyscrapers and detached houses mixed together in a strange, but interesting mess. Willow still couldn't contain his excitement; Cosmo was engaged in exploring the city he knew everything about. Mr. Turner never spoke, and neither did Cosmo or Willow. They would feel uncomfortable to speak in the driver's presence. The silence was awkward, but soothing.

The rain was indeed getting heavier. The raindrops were covering the window, flowing down and mixing together on the way, leaving streams until new ones covered them up. Cosmo spent a great deal of his time examining the drops.

"How long does the trip take?" He finally asked.

"Twenty hours," Mr. Turner replied. "But we won't sleep. Sorry."

Cosmo sighed and looked away. They had been driving for around an hour now. Nineteen more seemed like a lot to take.

He looked back into the window. The city was slowly faded, the buildings getting smaller and less dense. Soon it'd just be the plains, then another city. He really wondered how he'd survive it.

The empty part was surprisingly small. A sign saying "Neva" flashed by, and Cosmo could barely catch it with the corner of his eye before the skyscrapers started appearing. He was strangely comfortable in such a crowded place. Many people were walking around the streets, holding colorful umbrellas, their paces fast.

"Nice, huh?" He asked Willow. He nodded.

"Would you like to live here?"

"Well, why not?"

"I would. Everything's so big."

"Well, our city also has a lot of tall buildings. I think this one's just colorful. Just look at all the people."

Willow shrugged and lay back.

"I'm hungry."

"Hang in there."

"How much do we have left?"

"Nineteen hours, I think. But I'm not sure."

He sighed and looked at Cosmo with a frown. Cosmo nodded and moved closer. Mr. Turner didn't seem to care about the conversation.

The rain was slowing down – not too intensely, but promisingly.
