Cosmo hurriedly took off his shoes and stepped to the side, inviting Archer to do the same. He slammed to door shut once everyone was inside and walked in Willow's direction.

"We aren't safe anymore. The village people want to kill us."

"Why?"

"Because of me."

Willow frowned.

"Because you wanted to report them?"

"Yup, but I no longer do. Trust me, I really do regret it. Now we need to hide in here until the city people come for us. Don't say a word about the village, okay?"

Willow nodded.

"I won't. Why is Archer here?"

"They're angry at him for telling us everything."

Archer was settled on the floor, his legs crossed in a yoga pose. Cosmo cast a glance at him and nodded, signifying everything was fine. He got up.

"Are you hungry?" Cosmo asked him. He shook his head.

"Oh, by the way!" Cosmo was stricken. "Where will you sleep?"

"I can sleep on the couch."

"Oh, come on, I will."

"No!" Archer snapped. "There's no need to."

Cosmo and Willow exchanged surprised looks. The next moment, when Cosmo looked back at Archer, he was smiling from the couch. Cosmo relaxed and went into the kitchen. The hunger was only remembered now, once he was completely safe. The berries weren't at all filling by any stretch of the imagination. The food that remained in the pantry didn't look like it, either; just cookies. Shrugging, he reached for one pack and went back into the living room.

"Want some?" He asked Archer and Willow, who were both sitting in silence and staring into nowhere. Willow turned around, and Cosmo pulled out his hand with the pack. Willow reached inside.

Archer had ignored the question. He was now looking down at his hands. Cosmo approached him and put his hand on Archer's shoulder. He looked back for a moment, brushed it off and looked back at the wall.

"Archer, is everything okay?"

He turned around and kneeled, right on the couch.

"It's fine. You... You shouldn't be concerned," he forced a sad smile. "I just miss the village. But they'll kill me if I come back now, won't they?"
