Archer woke up first; he was used to doing so. Cosmo was near him, still sleeping. Not wanting to disturb him, Archer got up. Cosmo's eyes immediately broke open, and he looked around for Archer. Soon they were both walking towards the canyon without saying a word, then turning back. Ivy stood up a little later.

"When's the food boy coming?" She asked.

"He usually comes early," Archer replied. "So pretty soon, I guess."

The only one asleep was Willow. Cosmo sat down next to him and moved his hand through the hair, then stood back up. His eyes met with Archer's, and they smiled, looking out for Kingsley.

He soon appeared. Ivy smiled approvingly, and Archer started waving for him to notice them. But he didn't seem to hurry; as he got closer, he turned out to be empty-handed.

Ivy raised an eyebrow.

"I was forced to confess," Kingsley started speaking himself.

"What?" Archer stood up, facing him. Kingsley backed up.

"Sorry, I was caught."

"Couldn't you lie?"

"But they're asking to see Ivy," He muttered quietly.

"I'm not going!" Ivy announced loudly. "I still wanna live."

"They seemed nice," Kingsley replied. "Sincerely interested."

"I'm going with her," Cosmo insisted.

"Alright, if you dare," Archer seemed calm.

Irritated, she got up. Cosmo took her hand and pulled her. They walked into the forest.

He could feel Ivy pressing her body against his nervously. She was still feeling insecure, and so was he. But they had to do it together.

They walked towards a big and important-looking building. For such harsh living conditions, it was an impressive-looking structure. Archer stopped; Cosmo did, too.

"Go on," Archer encouraged.

"Alone?"

"Yes."

Cosmo put his foot on a step, then again. He had to do it.

Once he was inside, he was greeted by a man of around twenty-one. He looked way too young to be an important person.

And beside him, Kelly was sitting cross-legged on the floor. She flashed a smile towards Ivy, and it seemed kind. Cosmo got tighter, ignoring the wings that were now falling on the floor.

The man stood up.

"Okay, I heard about your situation, but not firsthand. I'm not sure if I'm right, but Cosmo... Is that your name? Am I saying it correctly?"

"Yes."

"Cosmo got bribed, right?"

"You could say so."

"And you have some kind of disease. Something to do with wings."
