Tyler walked into the school building with slumped shoulders. He glanced back down at the piece of paper in his hand, reading over his schedule and what locker number he had.
He rubbed his eyes as he made his way to his locker, frowning when he saw that Melanie was standing to the one next to it. Tyler walked up to his locker and Melanie glared at him, "what do you want."
Tyler glared back and answered in a snappy tone, "this is my locker."
Melanie scoffed and went back to sorting out her locker. Tyler glanced to see she already had photos hanging up from last year. They were group photos and Tyler rolled his eyes when he noticed he was cut out.
"Drama queen," he muttered under his breath.
Melanie turned to him again with a raised eyebrow. She placed her hands on her hips, "I'm sorry, do you have something to say to my face?"
Tyler shrugged as if it was no big deal, "nah, not really."
Melanie scoffed, "Tyler, you're honestly an unbelievable jackass."
Tyler smirked, "oh, I'm sorry. Did the princess not get her beauty sleep last night, cause you sure are acting like a bitch."
Melanie slammed her locker door shut, getting the attention of most of the people in the hallway. Tyler flinched at the sound and suddenly felt self aware as everyone had their eyes on the two.
Every one knew that they used to be friends, and hey also knew that they had a huge fight ending the friendship. Melanie wiped her eyes, "just because josh isn't here doesn't mean you can go around making everyone feel like shit!"
There were a few gasps heard, everyone also knew how Tyler was with the subject of josh. The freshman all began whispering, asking about who this josh guy was.
It was deadly quiet in the hallway as Melanie stormed off. The only sound was her high heels clicking against the ground and it's echo. Everyone watched Tyler, waiting for his reaction.
Last year, many people had witnessed Tyler break into tears, have panics attacks, and even get angry when people mentioned josh. Now they were all just waiting for which way he would react.
But Tyler changed over the summer, he didn't react as any of those anymore, for he was numb about the subject. Tyler only stared down the hallway where Melanie stormed off, everybody still staring at him.
The bell rang and everyone began to slowly pull their eyes away from Tyler and head to their classes. Ryan came running up to Tyler and he shook his shoulder lightly, "Tyler?"
Tyler looked at Ryan and smiled weakly, "hm?"
Ryan smiled back sadly, "the bell rang, we have to get to class."
Tyler shut his locker, "oh, uh, ya. Ok, lets get to class...then."
Ryan and Tyler began walking down the hall and Ryan glanced up at Tyler, "are you ok?"
Tyler forced a smile, "why wouldn't I be?"
Ryan sighed, "Tyler, you don't always have to pretend your ok."
Tyler stopped walking and looked at Ryan, "Ryan, I'm ok. There's nothing wrong with me."
Ryan frowned, but nodded. He knew how stubborn Tyler was. They walked into class and found two seat next to each other. Tyler began doodling in his journal, but was interrupted by a hand being placed over it.
Tyler looked up to see Jon smirking down at him. Tyler smiled, "hey, Jon."
Jon fake pouted, removing his hand, "you never called me back."
Tyler shrugged, "sorry, been busy."
Jon leaned down so he was face level to Tyler, "you can make it up to me."
Tyler raised an eyebrow and tapped his pencil against Jon's nose, "and how ever will I do that?"
Jon grinned, "will your mom be home after school?"
Tyler shook his head, "no, she'll be at work."
"Then maybe I can come over after school."
Tyler looked up in thought, letting out a hum. He looked back at Jon and smirked, "sure. Now shoo."
Jon chuckled and walked off to his seat. Tyler began doodling again when he felt Ryan's eyes on him. Tyler looked at him and shrugged, "what?"
Ryan shook his head with a sigh, "nothing."

Tyler opened the front door to his house and Jon followed closet behind.
"Madison? Mom?"
No one answered and Tyler smirked, "looks like we have the house to ourselves."
Jon grinned, "good."
Tyler grabbed his hand and lead him up the stairs. He lead Jon into his room and closed the door behind them. Tyler let out a gasp when he was pushed up against it, Jon's lips crashing against his roughly.
Tyler kissed back just as roughly, gripping onto Jon's shirt. He needed this. He needed to take his mind off of everything and this is how he always dealt with it. Jon moved his lips to Tyler's neck and Tyler giggled, "horny much?"
Jon chuckled against Tyler's skin, "can't help it when I'm with you." Tyler bit his lip as Jon began sucking on his collarbone, surly to leave a mark. "You should let me take you on a date," Jon muttered between kisses.
Tyler rolled his eyes, "you know I don't do relationships."
Jon pulled away with a smirk and shrugged, "it was worth a shot."
Tyler giggled and pulled Jon back in for a kiss, pressing himself against Jon. The kiss only broke briefly for Jon to pull his shirt over his head. He gripped into Tyler's highs, signaling for him to jump. Tyler obliged and Jon carried him over to Tyler's bed.
Tyler gasped as Jon roughly threw him onto the bed. Tyler pushed the question he always asked himself to the back of his head. Would josh be gentle and more loving with him?
Tyler shook the thought away and pulled Jon on top of him. He kissed him roughly, trying to drown all the thoughts in his head. Tyler felt Jon's hands slide up his shirt and he smirked.
