Tyler walked up to Ryan in the hallways and smiled, "hey, Ryan."

Ryan narrowed his eyes, "you seem happier than usual...what's going on?" Before Tyler could speak, Ryan's eyes widened and he tilted Tyler's head to the side, "Tyler, please tell me you didn't...was it Jon?"

Tyler rolled his eyes and blushed, "it wasn't Jon, ok? It-"

"please tell me you didn't go back to the bar, Tyler you were doing so good-"

"josh." Tyler interrupted Ryan.

Ryan's mouth fell open, "what?"

Tyler let out a sigh and muttered, "it was josh, ok?"

Ryan grinned, "Tyler, are you saying what I think your saying?"

Tyler nodded and blushed. He gasped and stumbled slightly when Ryan hugged him tightly. Tyler smiled and hugged Ryan back. "Hey, Tyler. Hey Ryan."

Tyler and Ryan pulled away and Ryan grinned at josh. "You and Tyler are back together?" Josh nodded and grabbed Tyler's hand. Ryan let out a sigh, "oh my god, I've been waiting for this day."

Tyler rolled his eyes, "stop being dramatic."

The bell rang and josh smiled, "we should get to class."

Tyler nodded and the three began walking to class. Josh still held Tyler's hand in his, causing many people to stare at the two. Tyler shrunk under everyone's gazes. He wasn't embarrassed of josh, no, he would never be. He just didn't like the staring. Tyler pulled his hand away from Josh's, looking at the ground. Josh's eyebrows furrowed, "Tyler? What's wrong?"

Tyler blushed, "p-people are staring."

Josh grabbed Tyler's hand again, "it's ok, just don't focus on them."

Tyler gulped and nodded. His grip tightened on Josh's hand and josh grinned. They walked into class and josh placed a kiss on Tyler's cheek. Tyler glanced over to see Jon glaring at josh. Josh noticed and rolled his eyes. Josh and Tyler sat in their seats, with Ryan in between them. Josh pouted, "you're too far away."

Tyler smiled with an eye roll, "poor, Joshie."

Josh frowned, looking to the side of Tyler. Tyler turned to see Jon standing next to him, with his signature smirk. "Tyler gave him a small smile, "hey, Jon."

Jon grinned, "hey, Tyler. I was thinking maybe I could come over after school. Or you could come to my house."

Tyler let out a nervous chuckle, "um, probably not."

Jon pouted, "oh, come on, it'll be fun."

Josh glared at Jon, "he doesn't want to, so move along."

Jon glared at josh, "it's not like your in a relationship with him or something, so back off."

Josh scoffed, "funny you say that, cause I am."

Jon looked at Tyler surprised, "please tell me he's joking." Tyler shook his head and Jon scoffed, "you told me you didn't do relationships."

Tyler opened his mouth to speak, but Ryan butted in, "there's a lot you don't know about, Jon, so just drop it."

Jon glared at all three boys before stomping back to his seat. A few snickers were heard from other classmates and Jon snapped at them, "shut up."

Josh rolled his eyes, "jeez, he needs to chill."

Tyler smirked, "Jon's not used to rejection."

Ryan snorted, "you can say that again."

The teacher walked in the room and smiled at the class, "alright, let's get started on today's lesson."

Tyler and josh walked down the sidewalk hand in hand. Typer stared at their feet in thought as he swung his and Josh's hand back and forth. Josh squeezed his hand, "what are you thinking about?"

Tyler looked up, "hm?"

Josh smiled, "I asked what your were thinking about."

Tyler smiled back, "who said I was thinking?"

Josh rolled his eyes playfully, "come on, Tyler, I know that face when you're thinking really hard."

Tyler looked back at the ground and spoke in a quiet voice, "do you think Jacoby will come back?"

Josh stopped and frowned, "is that what your worried about?" Tyler looked up at josh with wide eyes, nodding his head. Josh cupped Tyler's cheeks, "I won't let that man near you. Ok? I promise that I will not let that man lay another finger on you."

Tyler nodded, leaning his head into josh hands and gripped his wrists. Josh tilted Tyler's head up to kiss him. Tyler suddenly relaxed his body, melting into the safety of the kiss. They broke away when they heard a scoff.

A man with a scowl passed them, muttering slurs, "disgusting fags."

Tyler glared at the man, about to march up to him, "you wanna say that to my face? Fuck you, man!"

Josh grabbed Tyler's arm, but Tyler only tried to break free when the man let out a few more curse words. "Fucking fight me, bro!" Tyler yelled out to the man.

Josh pulled Tyler against his chest. Tyler's jaw clenched as he tried to glare at the man, but josh kept turning Tyler's head to face him. Josh smiled at Tyler, who was letting out heavy breaths of anger. Josh caressed the pad of his thumbs against Tyler's now red cheeks, "hey, it's ok."

Tyler let out a huff, his eyes going wide, "no. It's not. He doesn't have any right to talk to us like that, we didn't even do anything to him!"

Josh pecked Tyler's lips, "I know, but forget him." Tyler looked at Josh's shoulder, averting his gaze as he tried to control his temper. "Tyler, look at me."

Tyler looked up at josh, who was still smiling at him. Tyler spoke in a small, cracked voice, "why are people so fucking cruel?"

Josh pulled Tyler into a hug and Tyler closed his eyes, hugging back tightly. Josh rested his chin on top of Tyler's head, "I love you."

Tyler couldn't help but smile at those three words, "I love you too."

Josh pulled away, "then that's all that matters, right? Who cares what everyone else thinks, screw all of them. All that matters is that we have each other, right?"

Tyler nodded weakly, "right."

Josh grabbed Tyler's hand and they continued their walk, "don't let people like him ruin your day, ok? Your so much stronger than all of them." Tyler smiled and squeezed Josh's hand.
