I laid in the protective embrace of my husband, as the snow fell around us. The crackling of the fire keeping us warm. "Why is now so perfect?" I asked, as he leaned on his elbow placing his hand on my stomach.

"Because I'm here." He joked, which made me giggle. "It is perfect." He paused. "Phoebe?" I looked confused, Shay turned to face me. "Phoebe if it's a girl?" I smiled leaning up to sit up.

"Yes, I like that." I smiled kissing him. "Phoebe Rose Cormac."

"Phoebe Rose Cormac?" Shay asked. "Yes, I think that would suit Patrick Henry Cormac."

"Yes, I think that would do nicely."  Smiling wide at my husband. Shay moved the hair from my face tucking it safely behind my ear. "Yes, that sounds like a good standard name." He chuckles giving me another kiss. "We're going to be completely outnumbered aren't we?" He whispers against my lips, I place my hands on his cheek. "It's just I can't keep my hands off you."

"No, we won't." He smiles placing his lips against mine. "You have a a crew, I don't plan on pushing that many children out of me."

I pulled back. "I was only referring to our little family, not my extended crew." I knew he was. "But you knew that and you were trying to make a joke, but I think we better get going before one of us freezes to death." Shay pointed towards the fire that we made. "Because I'm dying for something other than pork." He continued.

We got up and put our weapons on and started climbing the trees that surrounded us. I couldn't help the smile I had on my face, I've not done anything like this in a long time, but I still remember everything. "What a view." I shouted as we saw ice and snow over the tops of the mountains.

I've been a Templar working as an inside man, however I didn't get much information, nor field experience. I can't remember the last time I actually climbed a tree. "When was the last time you climbed a tree?" Shay shouts back. I hadn't realised he was ahead of me, I was caught up with the view.

"That would be the day you left for Lisbon." I shouted as he was far in front of me. "The last day of training, they wouldn't let me do anything when I was carrying Patrick, not even simple target practice." I hear Shay laugh. "Training to be an assassin was a waste of time, because then I turned into a Templar was an inside man infiltrating the colonial brotherhood."

"Pretty sneaky, but also very impressive."He asked as he waited for me to catch up. "It almost gets me a little hard at the thought of it." He continued.

"Is everything I do turn you on Shay?" I asked following behind him, quickening my pace trying to say in range with him, but I was struggling.

"Yeah, because you're the most powerful, dangerous, and beautiful woman ever. Literally, you have no idea what you do to me." I giggled, leaning on a branch to catch my breath.

"Fuck, try doing this with a baby inside." I complained as I saw Shay chuckling. "Shay stop!" I begged. He turned around and came over to me, balancing on two branches that barely held both of us. "You're not so bad yourself either." I whispered as his hand finds my cheek and caresses it, his touch sending shivers all along my body. "Ah." I whimpered, which caused a chuckle from Shay.

"I guess we do make a good match! When only a touch from me on your cheek is sending you crazy." I nodded, as he leaned down and kissed my lips. I broke away, kissing his cheek. "You know I remember a lot from those days, particularly when you taught me how to run through trees, all I ever wanted you to do back then was do what you just did." I paused. "Then when Kesegowaase started teaching me the ways of the forest after your basic training, I think I was told off more than he actually taught me." I smiled at the thought of that memory. Shay's hand still on my face, my breathing hitched, as he moved his hand from my cheek to my waist.
