Max's POV

I sit on the couch with Chara, watching tv and nodding off to sleep when the door bursts open.
"We're back!" Harvey shouts
I wince at the noise.
"Oops sorry.." Harvey says
We both stand up and walk over to Harvey and Mom.
"How was it?" Chara asks
"Good." Harvey says shrugging
"Is the school big?" I ask
"uh yeah." Harvey says
"Meet anyone?" Chara asks
"Laney's friends which I didn't know she had." He says
"Oh yeah I forgot she moved here 2 years ago." I say
"Oh yeah that's right. We were friends back then." Chara says hitting my arm
"Well it was fun and I'm sure both you boys are gonna love your schools." Mom says
She goes upstairs with the suitcase.
"Okay I actually don't like Laney's old friends." Harvey says
"And why is that?" I ask
"They're so stalkerish. Like they knew who I was already it was kind of weird.." Harvey says
"Well I mean Laney probably told them about you since you guys are dating and they're friends." I say pointing out the obvious
"Well yeah..but.." Harvey trails off
"Just pointing that out." I say shrugging
Harvey grunts.
"I don't know they just seemed weird. But they go to the school too so." He says
We both nod.
"Hey wait doesn't that mean that if Laney knows them and they go to the school..then Laney went there too? Before she moved?.." Chara says
"Oh..yeah that kind of makes sense.." Harvey says
"Yeah it does doesn't it." I say nodding my head
"Oh shut up Max. I'm going upstairs." Harvey grunts and goes upstairs
"He's..moody.." I say shrugging
"Aren't all boys?" Chara asks jokingly
"Hey that's rude to boys." I say
"Oops. But I mean you asked for it." She say shrugging
I roll my eyes. She kisses me on the cheek and skips back over to the couch. I follow her and I begin tickling her.
"Ahahahahahahhahahahahaha Maxxx, stoppp." She laughs
"It's what you get for being rude to boys." I say
"Stoppp, I'm sorry I'm sorry." She laughs
"Thank you." I say and stop tickling her
She breathes for a second then pulls me down onto the couch with her. I wrap my arms around her, she wraps her arms around my waist and we stay like this for a long time.

"You guys are hogging the couchhh." Harvey complains whilst standing at the end holding popcorn
"Well your hogging the popcornnn." Chara says mimicking him
I laugh.
"Only because you two are hogging the couch." He says
I roll my eyes.
"Don't you have to hang out with Laney or something?" I ask
"She's busy." He says shrugging
"Doing what hmm?" I ask
"She's hanging out with her grandparents it's their anniversary." He says
"Well okay then." I say
We move so there's room for Harvey, he takes a seat at the end of the couch, we steal the popcorn from him.
"Hey!" He whines
"Snooze you lose." I say
He grunts and crosses his arms turning his attention to the tv. Chara and I both laugh. There's only so many nights left before we leave for school, might as well make them count right?
