"Operation be normal."

Shawn.

I walked out of my room from just taking a shower. My clothes hugged my body because of the water. I dried my hair with a towel as I walked out of my room and into the living room.

I seen Matt making breakfast he had managed to set the laptop to the tv. As if we couldn't get anymore creepier. It was so he could watch the cameras without having to stay by the laptop.

"Hey want some breakfast?" He asked as he placed his egg on his plate.

I walked over and set my towel to hang on the back of the stool. I grabbed my jacket and put it on hiding my gun that was in the back of my jeans.

"No thanks I'm headed to the café and get some breakfast there." I told him as I put my wallet in my back pocket.

He nodded, "Ah you're going to go see Maddox." He said in a teasing way.

I raised my eyebrow at him, "W-why are you saying it like that?" I questioned.

He just shrugged, "Oh I don't know maybe because our little subject has a crush on you. And you got showered just to go see her. Sounds like she's not the only one with a crush."

He explained as he walked around the counter to sit on one of the bar stools. I scoffed and shook my head as I leaned and looked at him.

"Uh one I don't have a crush on her, two I took a shower because I take one everyday after I workout. And three it's kind of part of the job to get close to her." I told him as I put my ray bands on and my black cap.

"Oh whatever you say agent Lover boy." I heard Matt say right before I shut our apartment door.

I walked down the hallway and towards the stairs. I jogged down them and got a few flirtatious smiles from girls that lived in the same building. I just nodded but was unfazed by them. Some of them had wedding rings and still gave me a smile.

Not some ordinary smile either, it wasn't a hello smile. It was a flirt smile, but I just walked past them. I walked out of the apartment complex doors and down the busy street. I walked past her apartments and continued down the street.

I continued till I seen the familiar looking café come into view. I crossed the street and opened the door. That's when I seen her sitting on a stool talking to her friend. I walked over and sat in the stool next to her and heard the talking hush down.

I felt her stare on me as I took off my glasses. I looked over at her and smiled, she mirrored the smile.

"Good morning girls." I said trying to sound cheerful.

God this was going to be harder than I thought. I mean the whole trying not to be secretive and just be normal. I mean I can be normal but it was complicated because I couldn't exactly be me.

"Well good morning, someone seems to be in a cheerful mood." Maddox said as she stirred her spoon against her tea cup.

"Well it is a nice day out what's not to be happy about." I said.
