"Things just turned upside down."

Maddox.

"Hello? Earth to Maddox." Jess told me making me look up at her.

"Hmm?" I asked looking up from my coffee cup towards her.

She laughed, "You were spacing out on me. What were you thinking about?"

I shook my head, "Nothing."

But I lied, I was thinking about something. Last night to be exact.

I rested my head on his chest, I sighed in content as I twisted his ring. There was so many emotions and thoughts running through my head. But one emotion stood out and it was happiness, I was happy.

"What are you thinking about?" Shawn asked bringing me out of my thoughts.

I looked up at him and sighed, "Nothing, I'm just happy."

He smiled, "Yeah?"

I nodded my head and mirrored his smile, "Yeah."

After our hot make out session in the living room we had went into my room but nothing happened. We continued to make out but then realized we didn't want to rush it. So instead we laid in my bed, my head on his chest and our legs intertwined.

He then looked at his watch and sighed, "I have to go."

"Work?" I asked with a pout.

It was getting late but I didn't want him to leave. Things between us was good, I mean I know we met not so long ago but there was just something about him. He's different and I just had a feeling about him.

"Yeah sorry, I wish I didn't have to leave." He told me as I got off of him and sat up on my bed.

Shawn put back on his jacket, "Well its work, I can't keep you from that." I told him.

He chuckled before putting on his shoes, "Trust me all I'm going to be doing is file work but I'd rather much stay."

I laughed, "You're too much, how about tomorrow we do dinner or something?"

He smiled as he stood up to leave, "Sounds great, well I'll see you then."

He then leaned down and captured my lips with his. My eyes fluttered shut as I lightly grabbed his face. I didn't want this moment to end even if we were seeing each other tomorrow.

It was like the second he walks out of the door this will be over. Like I'll wake up from a dream.

He smiled against my lips before chuckling, "Okay I've got to go Maddox."

I sighed before pulling away and letting him go. He gave me a smile before walking out of my room. I waited to hear my front door close before I sighed and fell back on my bed.

"Does this have something to do with Shawn?" She asked me bringing me out of my thoughts.

I swirled my spoon in my cup, "Maybe."
