I Love You because...

During breakfast, you surprised the lady with your rice and Milo Powder meal. I remembered how you surprised me about that the first time. Well, I had done that before but not like how you usually did. I really loved how unique you are.

It made me sad though that you had to work when it was supposed to be your day off. But, anyway, thank you for the time you spared even if you were at work.

I had been craving for Burger King and so you invited me to go out for dinner instead of you buying us one. I had just taken a bath when you arrived and saw you're teasing look when I entered our room with just the towel wrapped around me. Oh how I loved that look. XD

I got lazy and you seemed to be craving for something else to eat. And, so we stayed in for another hour and decided to proceed with the original plan. We went to Burger King in Taft at 8:30 pm. Good thing they were still open. That had been our fave BK branch since we discovered its existence. I loved how cozy the place was and of course, the burgers had always been great.

When we got home, you seemed to be easily irritated and still sick. I offered to buy you medicine since you had already consumed the last Paracetamol. But, even if you were already sick, you were too protective and didn't want me to go out late at night. I felt bad though because I couldn't help in relieving how you were feeling. But, you were trying to be fine. Yet, you were still still grumpy and it almost went into my nerves. I, insensitively, asked you why were acting that way and told you I hated you for it (not meaning that, of course). I probably had forgotten being a nurse. It was out of my mind that it was normal for sick people to be grumpy. So, you reacted, "So, love mo lang pala ako 'pag ok and good mood ako?"

"Of course not! I love you still." I loved, love, and would love you regardless of your mood. When getting into this relationship, I knew what I had entered into. My expectation was already set that it wouldn't always be a happy day. And, whatever day it would be, good or bad, I would love you.

I got up, forced you to drink water (since that was the only thing I could think to relieve your terrible cough as of this time; it was already late), and hugged you tight. Then, we both fell asleep.
