I Love You because...

Today's your day off. We hadn't had a loooooong sleep in a week until today (Hahahaha - As if it was too long). We were planning to start jogging today but failed because we woke up at 7am. Instead, we had breakfast at Chichops. The losing weight plan seemed to be out of hand again.

You were catching up on your series (Seriously, you had a lot. I was planning to catch up but I believed I was already too late for that; I could no longer match or even go near your episodes of PLL, Walking Dead, Ravenswood, The Originals and uhhhhhmmmm. I already lost count of 'em).

But, you paused for a moment, put your lappy, down, and lay next to me. I didn't know if you were just hungry, tired, or bored. You were looking at my screen and asked update about the series I was watching. I really loved it that you still paid interest of the things I was doing even if you were somehow, already, too consumed by your own. You had asked me to tell you how the episode went again. And, with all pleasure, I did what you asked me for. Surprisingly, you kissed me afterwards. You were a little aggressive but I did not part my lips.

"I always love wet kisses." you said.

"No, smacks are sweeter." (Wet kisses are romantic and passionate but, for me --- at least for me, it's not appropriate all the time. And, this, I think, is one of those times.)

What you did next was "sweeter" indeed. You kissed me on my cheeks, my shoulder, and back to my lips. And, yes, it wasn't wet. LoL.

Anyway, 1pm was causing the growl on our tummy and the hot afternoon was inviting ice cream to be served which, of course, we didn't refuse. I requested for bread first, Spanish bread specifically. Well, ever since I was a kid, it had been my favorite which happened to be one of yours now. I told you, I was an influencer and contagious. Even a friend to whom I had introduced the bread once seemed to have liked it too. I had a good taste indeed. But, nah! Don't feel it that much. Alright. Yes, you may. I had a good taste like I said because I chose you. :-)

Before we left, I was looking for the umbrella I couldn't find and decided to just go out with tank top on and shorts. But, you stopped me. "Oh, sobrang init sa labas ha?" your exact words. So, I donned my long sleeved cover up and wore a cap. You were even surprised and smirked when you saw me. Hahaha. On our way, we passed by a food booth that was selling fries and cheese sticks which were our other faves. Yeah, we loved and love to eat. We told the lady to prepare two for us and left to buy bread first so it would be ready for pick up on our way back. But, when we came back, it wasn't ready yet and it took forever for the lady to cook and prepare. So, you volunteered to buy the ice cream alone instead though you were still a bit sick. Oh, poor you.

When I got home, I waited for almost 10 minutes before you came. I was already imagining you being hit by a truck or what not. Well, you knew how morbid my thoughts were. It just that I was thinking you'd reach home first since the lady at the booth, just like I said, took forever to prep everything. But, at least, at last, you were already here. So, let's eat.

We're back to what we were doing. However, all of a sudden, you closed your laptop and lay next to me. You were looking at my screen so I didn't bother looking at you at all. Then, you turned your back away from me. I was wearing my earphones but I heard your sobs. I wondered what made you cry because yes that was so sudden. But, you didn't answer even after my efforts of asking. Sadly, we had a little argument.

But, like we always did, we didn't make everything a big deal. Although the topic was quite a sensitive and serious one, we still chose to let it go and made amends. You even offered to toast a bread a for me. Thank you but I didn't feel like eating.

Fast forward. Binibining Pilipinas 2014. I loved how you always wanted to get updated first. But, above it, I loved how you answered all my questions even if I had forgotten I already asked it twice or thrice.
