Five days after Chivalry's disappearance Daton was a frantic mess. He had lost some weight and there were dark circles under his eyes. His clothes were wrinkled and his red, curly hair was in tangles.
He sat in a chair staring at the wall reliving everything. He went for a walk, talked to the doctor, then came back to find his wife missing. The police were still searching for her but so far there were no leads.
"Mr. Farefall?"
Daton jumped up. "Is there any news? Have they found her?"
The doctor gave him a sad look. "I'm sorry Daton."
Daton's look went from hopeful to angry. "Then what do you want?"
"Sit down son."
As soon as they were comfortable the doctor continued. "Your wife has been gone for five days. You need to go home. The police are still searching but I think it is safe to say she is not in this hospital. If she does turn up here we will notify you immediately. But for now the best thing for you to do is go home."
