"Oh Holland it's beautiful."

Chivalry was staring at a three karat princess cut diamond set in a white gold band.

"I was hoping you would. Do you remember it?"

"I'm sorry Holland but I don't. Please don't be mad."

"I'm not mad. I just wish you could remember some part of our life together. I was so sure the ring would do the trick."

"I wish I could remember too. I'm trying so hard but I always come up empty and confused."

Her words did wonders for his heart. She was trying. She was actually starting to believe him.

"Well put that ring on."

She looked up at Holland with sad eyes. He was so excited and she hated to disappoint him but she just couldn't put the ring on. Holland noticed her hesitation and instantly became angry.

"When Chivalry? When will it be just you and me again? You are my wife! I've waited on you to wake up from a coma for two months. When you do wake up you don't remember me. And to top it off you believe you are in love with another man."

Chivalry had tears streaming down her face. She hand't meant to hurt him. She wondered why hurting him bothered her.

"I'm canceling our wedding and honeymoon plans. Hayllen will help you pack. You are to be out of this house in one hour. Go search for your Daton."

Chivalry's heart raced. Her head hurt. How could she be so cruel? No man would make up a marriage to a complete stranger.

"I believe you!"

Holland was almost out of the room but her words made him whirl around. He was at her side before she had time to blink.

"What did you say?"

"I said I believe you. All of it. If you say we are married then I believe you."

"And you want the wedding and honeymoon?"

"Yes."

"You are sure? Really sure? You are ready to be my wife? No more Daton."

"Yes. I'm so lost and confused. I don't remember a thing about our life together before the coma. But since I've woke up you have been very kind and understanding."

"I know you are scared but it will be okay. We will figure everything out together."

Chivalry starting crying so Holland wrapped her in his arms. While holding her his mind went wild. He had done it. He had made Chivalry that they were married. His heart raced. He couldn't believe it. He was actually going to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loved.
