Sessirah and Gavin were in the waiting room at the hospital. Gavin was reading a book and Sessirah was on the phone with Daton.
"She what!"
"You heard correct. She dismissed all charges. The judge dismissed the case. Holland KInchen is a free man."
"Why would she do that?"
"I don't know. She collapsed in the court room. She's in labor now and Holland is in ther with her."
Daton was silent for a long time.
"Daton?"
"I'm still here."
"She loves you Daton. She's just emotional and not thinking straight."
"I hope you are right Sessirah. Look I've got to go. Just keep an eye on her. Tell her to call me when she can."
Sessirah heard the click as Daton hung up. She plopped down beside Gavin and sighed. He put his arm around her and she leaned into him.
"Everyting will be okay."
"How can you say that? Holland is a free man he's in a hospital room with my daughter."
"It's their baby. Try not to worry. Just get some rest until the doctor says we can see Chivalry."
Sessirah sighed and closed her eyes. "Thank you for being here with me."
"Anytime dear."
Gavin sat staring into space. He had seen the look of love pass between Chivalry and Holland in the court room. He decided to pray. He had a feeling everyone was going to need the prayers in the near future.
