Gavin couldn't believe what he was seeing. There on the cover of a magazine was a picture of Chivalry and a man named Holland Kinchen.

"Who is the man?"

"The magazine article said his name is Holland Kinchen. He and Chivalry are married."

"Why are they even in this magazine?"

"The article said they are on a two year honeymoon and have basically traveled the world. The magazine decided it would make a good story."

Gavin looked at Daton with sad eyes. "I'm sorry son."

"I guess Hayllen was right. Chivalry doesn't remember me and has found someone else to love."

Sessirah shot him a look. "I hope you aren't giving up. She loved you Daton. She's been tricked, brainwashed. One look at you and she will remember everything. I just know it."

"Do you really believe that?"

"Yes I do. Besides we've come too far to give up now."

"Sessirah I love Chivalry and I miss her so much it hurts. But look at this picture. Does that look like a woman who needs rescuing?"

"Listen here! You go after my daughter. Go after her! Do you hear me?"

Sessirah ran from the room sobbing. Gavin gave Daton a sad smile. "She just misses her daughter."

"And I don't?"

"Calm down. That's not what I meant. We all miss Chivalry. I agree that she looks very happy but I don't think you ran across this picture for no reason."

Daton thought for a moment. "Maybe God wanted to five me closure, let me know that Chivalry is alive and well."

Gavin smiled. It had taken a lot of prayer and time but Daton had finally turned his heart over to God six months ago.

"Possibly. Or maybe God's answering your prayers and giving you a chance to get your wife back. Just pray about it. I will as well."

"Thanks Doc."

Gavin smiled. "I've been married to Sessirah about a year now. Don't you think it's time you called me Gavin?"

"Maybe. You've just always been Doc to me."

Daton stood. "I'm going for a walk. I'll be back in time to help with dinner."

Gavin watched Daton leave. As soon as the door shut he went to find his wife.
