"And how does that make you feel?"

Chivalry couldn't believe she had agreed to go see a therapist. Holland had insisted she go before the wedding so Daton could be a thing of the past on their honeymoon.

"Chivalry? How does coming here make you feel?"

"At first I didn't want to come. Now I'm just anxious for this to be over with."

"Why didn't you want to come?"

"I believed Holland was lying to me. I believed I was married to a man named Daton."

"Why did you believe Daton was your husband?"

"I don't know. Holland believes I made him up while in a coma."

"What do you believe now?"

"I don't know how to explain it. I know my life is with Holland but I feel a connection with Daton...even if he isn't real."

"Does Daton hurt your relationship with Holland?"

"He did. Even though Holland tried to convince me that Daton wasn't real I refused to believe him. Then one day Holland broke down and I realized how bad I was hurting him."

"Does Daton still come to mind?"

"Yes but not as much. When I woke up from the coma I ached for Daton and cried for him all of the time. I don't miss him any more. I just smile from time to time with a memory of him."

"Good. Now I understand that you and Mr. Kinchen are planning to renew your vows."

"Yes and take a long honeymoon."

"Excellent. It looks like our time is up but if you need me call me day or night."

"Thank you doctor."

Chivalry walked out of the door and got into a limo. Holland had arranged to pick her up. She couldn't wait to see him and start making wedding plans.
