"I am telling you Hayllen, I wouldn't know what to do without you."

"Oh Chivalry you're too kind. I've just always loved to shop. Everyone says I have great taste."

"Well I am no city girl. I love nature. So shopping was never on my agenda."

Chivalry posed. "I think this is the one."

She turned to look at herself in the mirror. She looked stunning in a blue silk dress. It was v-necked and sleeveless and came to her knees and flowed away when she twirled.

Hayllen stared for a moment. "Wow! You look beautiful. Now lets go get you some shoes and jewelry. Oh! And I want to get you a purse as well. No woman should be without a purse. I'm sure Holland won't mind."

At the sound of his name Chivalry stiffened. She always did. Hayllen always noticed too. She felt sorry for Chivalry. Nevertheless she had a job to do. She took a deep breath and plunged in.

"You know Holland is a nice gentleman and he loves you very much. I just wish you could remember your life with him. That would make things a lot easier. I know it would make him very happy."

Chivalry wanted to change the subject. "How did you come to be my nurse after I left the hospital?"

"I was Holland's and your cook. He asked me to be your nurse and I agreed."

"So Holland just orders you around?"

"I would do anything for Holland."

Chivalry heard a tone in Hayllen's voice. "Are you in love with Holland?"

Hayllen denied every word. "Oh Mrs. Kinchen you do have a wild imagination."

Seeing that she was getting nowhere Chivalry tried another route. "Tell me Hayllen, what was my relationship like with Holland before the coma?"

"You and Mr. Kinchen were deeply in love. Other couples envied what you two shared."

Chivalry became quiet. She was quiet for so long that Hayllen looked over to check on her only to find silent tears streaming down Chivalry's face.

"Chivalry don't cry. It's going to be okay."

"No it's not. A man claims to be my husband and swears that we shared a life together yet I don't remember a thing. All I remember is Daton Farefall. Why? Why does my heart ache to be with another man?"

Hayllen couldn't give her an answer. Instead she wrapped her arms around Chivalry and held on tight. When the two women gained composure Hayllen opted for some ice cream and off to do more shopping. Chivalry agreed.

The rest of the day Hayllen worked on a plan. Chivalry and Daton needed each other. One way or another she waws ging to make Holland Kinchen see that fact.
