"I had a wonderful time tonight Doc. I learned a lot. I truly do have a lot to be thankful for. God has been so good to me."
"Amen to that. And please call me Gavin."
Sessirah tested the name on her lips. "I like it. Sorry. Daton has just called you Doc and I got into the habit of doing the same."
Gavin felt his pulse speed up. He loved her saying his name. That she was beautiful inside and out plus her being a child of God just made his feelings for her stronger. He decided to say a quick prayer for their future.
"What are you thinking about?"
"Sorry. I was just praying."
"Never apologize for praying. God always comes first."
She never ceased to amaze him. She was always smiling, always willing to help, and so full of life.
"Well here is our stop."
"So it is. Thank you for tonight. I truly enjoyed myself."
"Maybe you can join us again next week."
"I would like that."
"Good. Well goodnight Sessirah."
"Goodnight Gavin."
Gavin sighed as he watched her head to the house. She really was something special. He drove off in prayer hoping God had something special planned for the two of them.
