Chapter 10

I wake up and I'm not in the living room.
I sit up, and find myself in... Jonahs room.
Oh my god, Jack is gonna be so mad.
I hear the door open and I stand up.
It's Jonah.
"Why am I in here?" I ask.
"You looked so peaceful with Jack so I just took you for a second."
I start walking out the door when Jonah stops me. "We will end up together." He said.
I keep walking to the living room and everyone is still sleeping.
I kneel down next to Jack and gently wake him up.
He squirmed his eyes. "Lauren?" He says tiredly.
"Can we talk really fast it's important."
He sits up. "Yeah what's up?"
"I was thinking we could go outside?"
He nods and we walk out the back door.
I hug him.
"What's wrong?" He asks.
"Babe, I woke up in Jonah's room. He said I looked peaceful sleeping with you and he wanted to take me for a little."
He looks away from me.
"I promise."
Jack hugs me back and I start tearing up.
"Sorry if I'm so dramatic all the time." I say.
"No babe it's ok." He says and pulls me back into a hug.
Jack picks me up and takes me into his room. He sets me on the bed and puts the covers over me, then gets in bed himself.
"Are you okay?" He asks.
"I am now." I respond. (Sorry if that was cheesy lol)
He pulls me close and we stay there until I go to sleep.

Later that morning, I wake up still close to Jack and smile.
I crawl out of bed and walk downstairs for a glass of water, until I see Jonah in the kitchen.
"What do you need?" Jonah asks.
"I'll wait." I say and walk back up to Jacks room.
When I walk in, Jack wakes up.
"Morning babe." He says.
"Morning."
"I don't mean to be controlling, but I don't really want you talking to Jonah until I get things figured out. Ok?"
"Yeah, thank you for always being there." I say.
He smiles. "Of course."
I start getting dressed and completely forget Jack is there until I'm done and turn around.
"Oh my gosh I forgot you were there, sorry." I say, feeling myself getting red.
"It's ok, I don't mind." He says and smiles.
Then we both go downstairs, Jack in his boxers and there is a girl on the couch.
Jack quickly grabs a robe laying on a chair and throws it on.
The girl stands up.
"Hi I'm Amber." She says coming over to Jack and I.
"I'm Jack and this is Lauren." Jack says.
"I'm waiting for Jonah, he invited me over and he wants to go shopping and talk but I don't know where he is. Someone named Zach let me in."
I look at Jack and he seems confused.
"Oh, I would help you out but Jonah and I aren't talking right now."
She turns to me.
"Can I talk to you outside?" She asks me.
"Sure." I say and follow her to the front door.
When we get outside and shuts the door she yells, "How could you do that to Jonah!?" And pushes me.
I hit my head on the concrete and everything goes black.

Jack's POV:

Lauren and Amber have been outside for a while talking now.
I suddenly hear a car driving away and I look out the window to see Amber in it.
That's weird. Maybe I should go outside and ask Lauren.
I open the front door and see Lauren laying on the concrete, bleeding from her head.
I run over to her.
"Zach! Corbyn! Daniel!" I yell.
I check her heartbeat and it's still there, pretty normal.
I was about to break down into tears when Jonah comes from around the corner.
"Oh my gosh, is she okay." He kneels down next to her.
"Just call 911! Or get the boys!" I yell.
Soon enough I hear sirens coming down the street and an ambulance parks in our driveway.
Paramedics come out and put her in the back of the ambulance.
I sit next to her the entire ride to the hospital, and the boys are driving right behind us in the Jeep.
