Chapter 46

Lauren's POV:

When I woke up on Halloween morning, Jack was already awake and his hand was on my stomach.
I smiled at him and he smiled back.
"I still can't believe it." He says.
"I know."
We get up and go get breakfast.
All of the Halloween decorations are up and ready.
"Good morning!" Zach yells.
"Are you excited for the Halloween party?!" Jonah adds.
"Yeah." I respond and laugh a little.
I looked over at Corbyn and he looked sad.
"Corbyn, what's wrong?" I ask.
He looked up. "Oh nothing. It's just, Christina can't make it."
"Aw that's too bad. I'm sorry."
He shrugs and plops himself on the couch.

Time flies by and eventually people start showing up to the party.
By 7:00, there are over 100 people at the Why Don't We house.
Corbyn was sitting on the couch when I got a text from Christina.

C- Are you ready? I'm here.
L- Yup, come on in.

Christina comes up behind Corbyn and says, "Is this seat taken?"
He jumps up and hugs her.
"What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't make it!" He yells.
"I wanted to surprise you! Lauren helped me."
Corbyn looks over to me and I smile, then walk away looking for Jack.
I eventually found him in the kitchen, getting a glass of punch.
"Hey baby." He says.
"Hi. Having fun?"
"Yeah. Come dance with me."
"I don't know."
"Come on please. There's a dance floor in the dining room."
"I'm not a good dancer." I whine.
"Neither am I. It will be fun."
"What are you talking about, you are good at dancing."
He pretends to flip his hair and I laugh.
He takes me hand and drags me to the dance floor, constantly telling me it will be fun.
We finally get there and Jack starts dancing.
I stand there with my arms crossed and he starts "twerking" on me. I laugh and he takes my hands, forcing me to dance.
I end up having fun actually.
When I decide to take a break, I see Christina sitting alone on the couch.
"Hey girl. Where's the bean?" I ask.
"He went swimming with Jonah and Zach. You know what's weird?"
"What?"
"I haven't seen Daniel all night."
"You know what, me either."
"I say we go look for him." She suggests.
I nod and we get up, looking on the first floor first.
When we don't see him, we move up to the second floor.
No one was up here, but we heard kissing.
We check, Jack's room, then Jonah's, Zach's, then Corbyn's. (pretend they all have their own room)
We look in the bathrooms, and decide to go to Daniel's room last.
When we get there, Christina opens the door and we see Daniel on top of a girl making out.
"Get out!" He yells.
Christina shuts the door and we run back downstairs.
"What was that?" Jonah says, shirtless at the bottom of the stairs.
"Daniel is making out with a girl in his room." I tell him.
"What!" He yells.
We nod and go to tell the other boys.
The rest of the boys are in the kitchen talking, so we decide to tell them.
"Guys!" I yell, and they all turn towards us.
"Daniel and some girl are making out in Daniel's room." Christina says.
Zach looked surprised. "Really? Dani can get girls? Before me?"
"That's crazy." Corbyn adds, walking over to Christina, putting his arm around her.
I made an "awww" face and Jack came over and wrapped his arms around me.
"Since we all know Daniel's news, should we say ours?" He whispers in my ear.
"Not yet." I whisper back.
He nods his head.
We all split up, and I go outside and just look at the stars while people are swimming and having fun.
Once 10:30 rolls around and the party is pretty much almost over, I look for Jack.
While I was looking, I got butterflies. I actually have to tell my friends I'm pregnant.
If i'm this nervous for my friends, how am I going to tell my parents?
I finally found Jack on the dance floor again, and tell him that I'm ready to tell everyone.
Jack smiles and nods his head.
He makes a really loud whistle and calls all attention to outside.
Jack and I stand on a rock so everyone can see us.
Christina, Corbyn, Jonah, Daniel, and Zach push their way to the front of the crowd.
"We have an announcement." I start.
"But before anything, we hope you all will be very supportive of this. You can ask questions afterwards." Jack interrupts.
"So, there's no really easy way to say this, so I'll just show you."
I start unzipping my jacket, and a name tag that says, "Hi my name is Baby" is on my stomach.
"Jack and I are pregnant."
The crowd fills with gasps.
"Have fun with the rest of your party!" I yell and get down.
The boys and Christina run over to us.
"You're pregnant? I thought the test was negative?" Zach asks.
"The doctor said drug store ones aren't always accurate."
"I thought you had a stomach bug?" Jonah questions.
"I just told you guys that. It was Daniel's idea."
"Daniel knew?!" They all shout.
"He was at the hospital with us!" Jack says back.
"Are you guys keeping it?" Christina asks.
"Yeah, definitely." I respond.
Jack and I smile at each other and then he slips his hand into mine.
