Chapter 25

Lauren's POV:

I keep my eyes closed, but i'm awake.
I didn't want to be. The message I got really got me down.
The only reason i'm sort of happy to be alive is Jack.
Wait, Jack!
I start opening my eyes, and I see him.
His eyes are all puffy, and he is still crying. But he's as cute as ever.
He looks down at me. "Lauren?" He says and sniffles.
I reach my hand up and touch his face.
He takes my hand and holds it. I try to sit up, and he helps me.
"I'm so glad you're awake." He hugs me. "Please don't ever do that again. I got so scared."
The other boys come rushing over. They tell me how glad they are I'm awake.
"So someone did actually notice." I manage to say.
"Lauren, we all care about you so much." Daniel says.
"I was about ready to punch someone." Jonah mutters and I half laugh.
"It's true." Zach agrees.
"We are all here if you need anything." Corbyn adds.
"We know the hate can get to you, we all went through it," Jack starts to say.
The rest of the boys nod.
"But please don't ever do that again. I, we, don't know what we would do without you Lauren."
I feel a tear roll down my face. "Come here." I say and spread out my arms.
I pull all of the boys into a group hug. "I love you guys."
We pull away and I look into Jack's eyes. "Especially you."
He smiles at me.
"Well thanks." Zach pouts.
I look at him. "We love you too Lauren." The boys all say.
"Please don't tell anyone about this." I tell them.
"We won't." Corbyn responds.
My eyelids felt heavy.
"I know it's just the start of tour, but I'm really tired. I'm gonna go take a nap." I say.
I try to get up, but lose balance. Jack immediately helps me.
He takes my hand and puts his arm around my waist.
I put my other arm around his shoulders and he walks me over to the bunks.
I look at my bunk and I don't think I have enough energy to climb into it.
"You can sleep in my bunk for now." Jack says, knowing I can't climb into my bunk.
I kiss him. "Thank you."
I get into his bunk and he closes the curtains.
I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Jack's POV:

Lauren gets into my bunk, and I know she's already asleep.
I go back and sit on the couch, and go on my phone while the boys continue to play video games.
I start going through my instagram feed when I get a text.

number: hey Jack
jack: ??
number: stay away from Lauren, ok?
jack: who is this?
number: you'll figure it out soon enough.. bye for now

What just happened?
"Daniel." I yell.
He turns around, since it's not his turn playing right now.
I motion for him to come over by me and he walks over.
I show him my phone screen. "Do you know this number?" I ask.
"I can look in my contacts." He pulls out his phone and looks for the number.
He shrugs. "Nope. I don't have it. That's creepy." He pats my back. "Sorry man."
He walks back over to play video games.

~a couple hours later~

I see the curtains of my bunk open and I go over there.
"Hey baby, did you sleep good?" I ask.
She nods, and gets up. I still help her, just in case.
"Can we go sit on the couch?" She asks in a soft tone.
"Of course." I smile at her and kiss her cheek.
We go over to the couch and she's asks for her phone.
"I'll be careful, I promise." I hand her the phone and she puts her head on my lap and goes on it.
I go on my phone too and I get another text. It's from Lauren.

Lauren: I don't want to say this out loud but thank you so much for everything. I love you so much, and is it bad i want you right now? 😏😂

I look down at her and she giggles.

Jack: Anything for you babe. You feel that too?😂

I run my fingers through her hair and she is still on her phone. Probably on instagram or twitter.
She is so beautiful.

Lauren's POV:

I have my head rested on my handsome boyfriend's lap and he is running his fingers through my hair.
He is the best.
I'm going on Instragram, just looking through my feed.
I see a few posts about Jack and I, and how they are happy for us whether we are dating or not.
I like a couple of them.
Should we announce our relationship?
I'm not going to worry about it right now.
I look up at Jack and he is so hot. I just want to kiss him right now. The rest of the boys are in the front of the bus eating.
I sit up and he looks confused.
I place my hand on his cheek and kiss him. He kisses back.
We do this for a while, until we are laying down.
I pull away, "Not right now, but one day."
I sit back up and he does too. "So close."
I laugh, "The boys are on the bus."
He nods and we go back on our phones.
This time, his head is on my lap and I am playing with his hair.
He's right, curls get the girls.

Sorry this chapter is short,
I will start writing longer ones, promise!!
I am going to be posting a little less often pretty soon because I'm getting a puppy on sunday!! (august 20th) and I start school september 6th.
I will post a picture of my puppy:)
I'm thinking about skipping the tour in the story after the first show because it's a lot to write..
I'll update soon though!
