Chapter 16

Jack's POV:

I wake up on the couch and look at the time.

I look to my right and see Lauren laying on me.
She's so beautiful. Her brown, curly hair falls perfectly, all of her features are perfect. And the best part is she's all mine.

Lauren's POV:

I open my eyes and see Jack looking at me.
"Good morning beautiful." He says.
"Were you watching me sleep?" I ask.
"Just admiring you." He says and I smile.
"For how long?" I laugh. "I'm an ugly sleeper."
"No you aren't. You are beautiful no matter what." He says.
"Are you okay, you are acting weird." He's never like this.
"Just happy I get to bring you on tour with me." He says and hugs me.
"I'm happy too. How long until we leave?"
"4 days." He responds.
"I can't wait." I say and kiss his cheek.
Then I get up and go into the kitchen to make myself a bowl of cereal.
"Do you want anything babe?" I ask.
"Will you make me a bowl too?" Jack says.
"Me three." I hear someone say and look up to see Zach coming down the stairs.
I jokingly roll my eyes.
"Good morning you two. The other boys aren't up yet so do you guys want to go to breakfast?" Zach asks.
I was about to pour the cereal into the bowl when Jack says, "Sure."
I put everything away and go upstairs to change into some shorts and a shirt.
We take off with Jack driving, one hand on the wheel and the other on my thigh. Zach was in the backseat.
"So Zach, when we get back I need you to get the boys in the living room. I have news to tell them." Jack says.
Zach nods.
~Skip Breakfast~
We get back to the house and all sit on the couch.
"Zach, can you get the boys?" Jack says and Zach goes running up the stairs.
"What are you telling them?" I ask, unsure.
"About tour." He says and smiles.
I smile back and take his hand in mine.
They all come downstairs, most of them yawning.
"What did you wake us up for?" Jonah says.
"Mr. Grumpy Pants." I say and laugh.
They all sit down by us on the couch.
"So as you probably know, Lauren and I are officially dating," Jack says.
Corbyn, Zach, and Daniel nods while Jonah just sits there.
"And you also know how hard it was for Lauren when I went back home."
This time they all nod.
"So I called our manager, and he said Lauren can come on tour with us!"
The boys all sit up.
"But if you feel like i'm intruding or you don't want me to go or you feel uncomfortable, please tell me and I'll understand." I add on.
"Are you kidding?! You're our best friend! Of course we want you to come!" Daniel says.
"Christina will have a friend!" Corbyn shouts.
"Whose Christina?" I ask.
"Corbyn's girlfriend," Jonah says. "But tour will be so much fun with you there!"
We all group hug and I couldn't be happier.
"Thank you guys so much, I love you all." 
Jack pulls out of the hug and starts walking away when I chase after him.
"Especially you." I say and kiss him.
He smiles and I add, "Please don't get jealous when I tell the boys I love them. I love them as friends, I love you as way more than I friend."
"Okay, I'm sorry. I love you too." He responds and kisses me.
"What do you say we all go out for dinner tonight to celebrate?" Daniel yells.
"Sure." Corbyn says.
"Sounds good." Jonah continues.
"Okay." Zach adds.
Jack and I nod, then Jack says to me, "Want to go on a walk to the park?"
"Sure."
We walk out the front door and towards the park hand in hand.
"Are you sure you want me on tour with you?" I ask, just to make sure.
"Of course, do you not want to go?"
"No, I do! It's just that's a band bonding thing and I don't want to intrude on that time."
"Babe, you aren't. We all want you to go."
"Okay, if you're sure."
"I am."
We continue walking to the park and when we arrive, we sit on the swings.
There is no one else there, so it's pretty romantic.
All of a sudden, my phone starts ringing. I grab it out of my pocket and see it's Zach calling.
I answer.

L: Hello?
Z: Where did you guys go? You didn't tell anyone you left
L: We just went to the park down the street.

I turn to look at Jack but he isn't there.

L: Except, I don't see Jack anymore.
Z: What do you mean?
L: Well, we were both on the swings and then you called, but now that i'm looking around, I don't see him anymore.
Z: Okay, the boys and I are on our way.

Zach hangs up the phone and I start shaking in panic.
Where could he have gone?
I get off the swing and look around a little.
I see the boys running towards me and I hug them.
"What happened?" Daniel asks.
"One minute Jack was on the swing next to me, and the next minute he was gone." I respond.
"It's probably just a joke." Jonah says.
"Jack wouldn't joke like this." Daniel quickly argues.
"Especially knowing how I act when he's gone." I add.
We all start looking and I hear Zach gasp.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
Zach points to the bushes, and I see Jacks shoe.
But it's not just his shoe, it's his entire body laying there, not moving.
I start bursting out in tears.
