A/N:

Hello guys! I'm back from Baguio city!

This poem was written on May 1, 2012. Because I already wanted to go home the moment I arrived. Wow.... that was touchy. But, hey.... I felt it, and I hope you guys like it.

Dedicated to Kuya Querro Jeb Ramiento. Because he's awesome. =)

Domicile

A vast blue sky and violet haze;

They met my gaze.

I drew a breath of the frigid air

That kissed my auburn hair.

Amidst a sea of emerald green,

There I have been.

Atop the perch of those lush trees,

Towards home, my heart flees.

Amid the wee birds loving twitter,

Sad hearts flutter.

And in the sound of cheery talking,

I saw and heard nothing.

The ticking seconds soon granted me

Some things to see.

A mass of clouds exceedingly bright;

But none could catch my sight.

So I pray for the long, winding road,

In a small ode,

To take me back to where I belong:

The land of sweet birdsong.
