Poem 36 - Andie

Andie

I'm a girl with a poet's heart,

That curses him who'll rip apart

The paper that seves as my shield

And slander this pen that I wield.

I keep my faith and never doubt;

I yearn and dream and sing and shout.

Noble William, I shall echo;

Composing verses as I go.

At my speech, you might heave a sigh....

But I am more than meets the eye.
