Poem 47 - Cry not, love

Cry not, love

What if you’ve broken down and cried?

What matters most is that you tried.

Those tears you shed were not in vain...

They’re testaments to strength in pain.

They may have knocked you down today,

But if you will, you’ll find a way.

Sometimes your courage can be found

In those bleak times when hopes are bound.

If it will comfort, here I stand

To dry your tears and hold your hand.

If I can help you, then I will...

In times of grief, I’ll linger still.
