Poem 49 - Anything but Ordinary

If I shall live in quiet peace

And walk these paths with joy and ease

Then I exist without a cause,

A common human bound by laws.

I'd rather have my body burnt

If through that I'll have lessons learnt.

I'd cross the line, endure the fall...

For life that's true, I'd wager all.

For I have dreams to touch the sky

And meet those angels eye to eye.

I'd give my heart, my soul and will

Than be a mere spectator still.

I'll scale the heavens, kiss the stars;

I'll paint an image nothing mars.

I'd rather be anything but ordinary, please.
