Poem 16 - Serment Eternel

A/N:

It's a love promise. "Serment Eternel" translates to "eternal promise". (Yeah, that was French.)

If ever I'll give anyone a promise, I'm supposing that it would be like this. (No chance of that.)

This.... I wrote this on May 3, 2012. Because I was in desperate need of mental excercise.

Dedicated to JJ456711. Because I do hope we learn a lot of things from each other, as poets. =)

Serment Eternel

Hear what I have to say, my dear,

And cast away your fear.

Do not despond because I am here;

Within reach and ever near.

I'll hold you close and kiss a tear

As it courses down your cheek.

I'll be your strength when you feel weak,

And help you find things that you seek.

I'll be your sun when the day is bleak;

Because I love it that you're meek.

And when you sleep, I'll sing to you:

A happy song or  two;

There's really nothing I won't do.

And all because my love is true.
